"And it corrupted him, so he's now a half-Blaze."
"A what?"

I stopped completely in my tracks. If James was a half-Blaze, would that mean..?

I placed my water bucket down. He instantly started shrieking and taking a ton of damage.
"Alright, this is bad." Gwen said.
"Oh yeah, Arnold. Are you alright? We were pretty worried when we heard." James said. "I apologise for Samuel on my behalf."

"No, it's fine." he shrugged it off. "How much time's left for the election again?"
Typical.
Arnold was the kind of guy that would change the subject if the subject ever came to him.
"About 5 more days." I said. "I wouldn't say I'm that worried."

This was a complete lie. I was very, very worried and knew that if Samuel won, he would abuse his power. He did that in our relationship too, constantly guilt-tripping me and there was even a bruise on my eye from that one time. But enough about that.

The sun began to set. I headed back to my house and went to sleep. Or at least, attempted to. I couldn't stop thinking about the election, what if..? No, no, everything's fine, April. Stop worrying about it.

And then, I finally went to sleep.
