Chapter 11

"She's a traitor. A real traitor."
I couldn't believe my eyes. Still, this was Kiara we were talking about. She'd bailed out on things on multiple occasions. Even important things. I don't know what I expected
And yet, I was still surprised.

"We'll take care of her after the election." I said reassuringly, still in shock. I sat down on the seats.
"You look like a ghost." Ava remarked. (A/N: srry had to do the foreshadowing lol)

"Whatever, let's just see what they have to say."
"..So this is why you should vote for Maguyako!" their speech finally concluded. I think I fell asleep halfway through it, but whatever.

And now the people had to vote. They all went up to the bottom floor of the building and put their votes in a chest. Diana then went inside the room.
"I'll get back to you guys in an hour." she said, realising the number of votes there were in total.

An hour later..
"And the most voted for nation is.." the votes had finally been counted. "WonderTopia! Congrats."
We were pretty surprised and happy. I didn't think we'd beat Samuel.

"There will be a festival in a few weeks to celebrate this occasion. Don't be late!" Diana left.
The second she left, we confronted Kiara.
"When were you planning on telling us?" I asked.
"What?" she acted confused.
"That you were part of Maguyako?" Roman continued.
"I- Samuel forced me into it! He said he'd kill me-"
"I really don't have time for this. Bye." I stormed off in a rage.

I still believed her, but only just. Samuel had a reputation for manipulating people, after all.

-Time skip to the festival bc I'm lazy-

A/N: this is where the real fun begins lol

Today was the festival! And heck yes, was I excited! I'd built a really neat area for the festival, with food stores, a dance floor, and some other cool stuff.

I got up, then got ready. I organised my chests, as usual. (A/N: this is literally me every day on a survival world-) After that, I went to the festival area, where I found the others.

"Morning." Olivia said. "Congrats on winning."
Her tone wasn't cold, like Samuel's. It was one that was genuine, that could be trusted.

"Thanks! Your nation's speech wasn't too bad either." We all headed to the dance floor. I don't really dance, so I was the DJ. The dance floor was powered by something called a "sculk sensor". I'd found a few of them while exploring, and they detected when a person made any sound. So, whenever someone was near a sensor, it would power redstone lamps, thus creating a dance floor. (A/N: yes this works, and in bedrock u can even make armor stands change poses)

After a while of dancing, we all just left and went to the food stores. We ended up getting some baked potatoes. And then, guess who showed up?
Maguyako. And you wanna know who weren't there? Olivia and Noah, because they were with us.

"What are you guys doing here? I thought you guys were-!" a small scream escaped her lips as Samuel put a hand on her mouth.

"We're here to do this." He dragged everyone to the election building's bottom floor.
Everyone drew out their weapons. Swords, axes, bows, you get the idea.
"What are you gonna do?" I said uncertainly.
"Oh, sweet, sweet April.." Samuel smirked. He knew something we didn't. He had the high ground here.

"As for WonderTopia, it was never meant to be." (A/N: YES I WROTE THE ERET REFERENCE FINALLY I WAS WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR AGES) Kiara had a small grin on her face as she pressed a button on the floor. I could hear sounds of TNT about to blow up.

"Run! I'll hold them off-" I told everyone. Ava, Olivia, Noah, Yashi and Roman managed to escape. But the rest stayed back and were ready to fight Samuel's forces. (A/N: for the record, Noah is on Maguyako's side but also supports WonderTopia in the festival bc he's not a spoilsport, unlike a certain someone.. *cough* Samuel *cough*)

And then, everything went pitch-black. As if there was nothing in the world anymore. Like.. limbo.

A/N: so I just realised a major loophole in the explosion thing. Did Samuel, James, and Kiara die in it too? Currently, no, I don't think so. But I do have plans for them.. which I'm not going to spoil.
