Jellal Fernandes have witnessed many things in his life and had survived against odds that were impossible, so he was no stranger to strange happenings but the young man couldn't even try to wrap his head around what was said to him right now. The young man was seating down upon a chair with a frown upon his features as Mui had revealed the reason for his sudden disappearance for these past few days and he couldn't find it within himself to believe what he was hearing.

Eve had betrayed them for Alvarez and there was no way of knowing exactly why it happened. She had been the last person in Jellal's mind to believe that she would turn against them. There was always something about the blue haired girl that was just so loving that he had trouble imagining her as an enemy. It was just impossible to think about and yet, as Mui had continued to talk, Jellal knew that the man wasn't lying.

He had never had to worry about Eve after all, the girl had managed to stay loyal to Erza even when he tried to turn her against the redhead when they were children. She even stood against him, risking her life for the redhead against him and he had been so sure that she had died when that day in the Tower, but had been so relieved to hear that she had survived. Someone like Eve wouldn't just turn like this…without saying anything at all…something has to have happened to the girl for her to turn against them…there just has to be something.

When Mui had finished talking, Jellal had simply sat in silence mulling it all in his mind. He was so lucky that Erza was already traveling to deal with the Avatar problem that they had stumbled into some months ago…Oh, what was he going to tell Erza? How was he going to tell her something like this?

"This is just…," he started, unable to finish his sentence.

Mui had let out a small sigh as he was seating across the young man with both of his hands in his coat pocket. His face was devoid of emotions but Jellal could see turmoil within the young man's eyes. He was probably dealing with the situation as hard as he was.

"You didn't find anything else?" Jellal asked him looking up at the man across him.

Mui shook his head, "No, with the battle against Sakura, the entire city went into a lockdown. If I didn't have my Space Teleportation magic, I don't think we would have escaped."

Jellal noticed the name, "Sakura? Eve's sister?"

Mui nodded.

"Her family adopted Eve when she was a kid from what I can understand," he said, "And she is part of Fairy Tail too…at least before it got disbanded. She is in Blue Pegasus now with Nichiya and the rest of the Three men."

Jellal let out a sigh, "She must have taken it pretty hard."

"She looked broken Jellal," Mui told him, "I don't think I have ever seen a look like that in someone's eyes other than when we were back at the Tower."

He stared at him.

"How are we going to break this new to Erza?" he asked.

"Honestly, I don't know," Jellal answered him, "With how close Eve and Erza were before the guild's disbanding, I would hate to see what the news will do to her. She is still occupied with Avatar along with Gray…so I'll have a few days to think it over at least."

Mui stared at him.

"There is something else that I have been keeping secret," he said, "Eve herself had told me about it but, with how everything had been going so far, I think that it might be the cause of why she turned against us."
