Leilani stomped into the dining hall, the wind whipping violently behind her.

The girl didn't glance at her friends as she walked in, nor did she look up at them as she sat down between her brother and Neteyam dropping her food on the table.

Her siblings and Neteyam quickly noticed her change in mood, unsure of what set her off.

"Leia, are you ok," Reya asked lightly, hoping the older girl wouldn't snap at her.

"I'm fine," Leia mumble, not looking up from her food.

"Was it Mom again?" Aonung questioned. The girl had usually opened up to her brother about these things since he could understand because he was going through something similar to their father.

Leia didn't say anything but simply looked toward her brother and then back down to her food; though it was only a glance, Aonung completely understood what she was feeling.

Neteyam felt utterly useless, not knowing how to comfort Leia. He just periodically looked over at her before turning back his food.

Leia didn't talk at lunch or on their way to the beach. As they reached their destination, Aonung pulled the girl to the side. Neteyam couldn't hear what they were saying, but he could see the girl crack a small smile and hug her brother. Losing the tension in her body as she and Aonung walked slowly toward the rest of the group.

Neteyam didn't like Aonung. He was unwelcoming and rude to his family, but he took good care of his sisters, and for that, he respected the boy.

Leia smiled at Neteyam as she sat next to him, a small breeze blowing her hair back.

"Sorry about earlier," she said, looking at the boy

"What is there to be sorry about?" Neteyam asked, confused about why she was apologizing to him.

"I've completely ignored you since lunch started," the girl said back, looking away from his eyes.

"Oh, it's fine. You were upset, it's ok I understand," he assured the girl.

"Bad mood or not, it was still incredibly rude of me, " Leia looked into his eyes, trying to convey her sincerity.

"Leilani, it is ok. I forgive you," he said, putting a hand on her shoulder and tilting his head slightly.

The group sat in a circle on a flatten out area by the beach. There was a canopy built over the head of the same fabric used to make their homes.

This is where the younger kids were given their lessons; the perfect spot for parents to watch, with no distractions for the kids.

Leia thought it would be a good place to practice breathing since no one was over there unless there was a lesson going on. Even then, a few people hung out in this area.
