I have learned so many lessons
Many of which came from heartbreak, or trial
Some I picked up like shells on the beach
Or collected like trading cards
If they leave you they were using you, take it as a blessing
Life is too short and too fleeting to regret not living
Pretending will only attract people who will never love the real you
You can't make someone love you and being loyal is not being in love
A selfish person is incapable of truly loving anyone else
You have to choose yourself first even when it's scare and even when it's painful and hard because nobody else will
The only way to survive is to fight for what you believe in even when it's difficult
When your reality begins to fill will gloom it means you are living in the wrong reality and you need to rewrite your perception of the world
I wasn't told I was lucky
Standing here is proof I was the opposite
My reality ever complicated by the woven mess of life I've been living
But with each lesson comes a little wisdom
A pocket full of courage
Even when the darkness seems large
I remember that the mind can escape
Any reality and can be my biggest ally
