When I die
Look at the stars in the sky
Don't send out school emails
Or post on social media
Don't share your favorite memories
Don't hold a memorial for me
I'm not here
If you really loved me
When I was on earth
You'd have been there for me
We would have had fun
Laughed a lot
Seen all the sights
When I die you'll be alright
You'd know what you meant to me
You'd know how to celebrate me
As you keep living each day
Maybe stop by a moment
When you kneel down to pray
But don't make a fuss
The reality of the situation
