It's lot that I hate myself
Or that I get scared of the world
But when I'm alone
It's much harder to face the darkness
To enjoy the simple and happy moments
When the world becomes still
I'm reminded of all the people I have loved
I am reminded of all the pain
All the mistakes
All of the things I have yet to do
And I am frozen in time
Unable to move
Unable to eat
Or take care of myself
I can handle myself just fine
But the company is so much sweeter
Those are the only true moments
