Liliana's PoV

"How could you do this to me? We have been together for almost ten years! Why would you decide to break up with me? Liliana! Answer me!" George raised his voice when I seemed to ignore him. Why can't this man leave me alone?

"Exactly! We've been together for ten years but do I see a ring on my finger? No! How long do I wait until you're fully committed to our relationship? I've wasted ten years with you. Have you ever asked yourself what things you've done for our relationship? George, please leave. This is my workplace." I was about to leave when George grabbed hold of my hand.

"Lily, you're going to regret this. Did you think this pathetic clinic would survive without my support?" support? Excuse me? I pulled my hand away from his hold as hard as I could.

"What sort of support you've given to me?! All you ever did for my clinic was sell them to big corporations! Have you ever thought about how I would feel if that truly happened?! You've never supported me, George! All you care about is yourself! Now please leave before I call the police! Now!" George was about to say something, but he decided it was enough for today.

"Are you okay? We heard a commotion." One of the nurses came to see if I was okay.

"I'm alright. Did something happen? Why are you here?" The nurse shakes her head no.

"I just want to make sure you're alright, doctor." The nurse smiled before excusing herself. I don't know if I'm alright or not after meeting George. I know what he's capable of doing, and I'm scared it might affect me and my workplace again.

That man managed to sell me out before. I know he will do it again. George is determined. He wouldn't let such a small matter stop him from going what he wanted. Should I consult with the person supporting this clinic? I feel like miss Tiffany needs to know that she's up against a lunatic.

I went out of my office and went to the consultation room before treating patients who had been waiting. I greeted my patient with a smile and asked what was wrong with them. Some came to refill their prescription, and some tried to get some time off work. It's normal day-to-day work here in the clinic.

It was when it was lunchtime that I felt like something was going to happen, and I was right- Miss Tiffany came to the clinic and asked if I could have lunch with her. I don't know how to explain myself, but this woman has such an unexplainable aura that forbids me from saying no. Is it because she's part of the Astoria family or because she's the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen?

Is this jealous of someone else's beauty?

"Let me get my things." Miss Tiffany nodded as she waited for me by the counter. After taking off my coat, I grabbed my handbag and phone from the table and immediately made my way to where miss Tiffany was.

"Shall we?" Tiffany smiled before opening the door for us. That bastard George never open the door for me.

"Are you alright with eating anywhere?" She asked as she walked towards the driver seat while I placed my hand on the car door handle.

"I'm fine with anything." I'm a foodie person so I could eat anything.

"Perfect." I got inside the car and wondered where we were going. Tiffany didn't even put the location on the car's GPS.

"I hope you're up for fine dining." Tiffany smiled. Wait, fine dining? I don't even dress that well. There are my work clothes.

"Fine dining? But don't they have a specific dress code? I heard all about it from that documentary I watched not too long ago." Tiffany suddenly laughed.

"Why should we care about dress code when all we do later is eat the food we paid for? Ignore the dress code, and we should eat till we're full." I- is that even allowed?
