𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 | 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬

KASSANDRA MARTIN AND CARL GALLAGHER have been attached at the hip since they were 3 years old. From melting Kassie's Barbie dolls over a toaster, to going into their first year of high school together, the two teens go way back.

Kassandra basically lived with the Gallagher's. She's basically a part of the family. Her mom worked so many overnight shifts at the hospital, and tossed Fiona a little bit of cash to take care of the brunette teen while she was gone. Fiona tried to refuse the cash every time but Kassie's mother insisted. Their living situation was working...up until Carl and Kassie turned 13...and began dating.

Fiona tried her best to keep them separated at night, to prevent any mini Gallagher's running around, and Kassie's mom trusted her to do it. But there's only so much one person can do.

Until it became a little easier...when Carl was arrested and sent to juvie. That broke Kassie, hell, it broke Carl. The two wrote each other every week, and Carl called as much as he could.

Kassie found herself sleeping in Carl's bed every night, confiding in Ian about how much she missed her boyfriend, to which Ian would rant to her about the guys he was seeing in that moment. The two of them became best friends. Ian would do anything for Kassie. He felt it was his duty to protect her and look after her while Carl was gone. Lip felt the same way, but he was mostly away and busy with his own life.

Everything was perfect, and then when Carl returned home from juvie a few months early, things were even greater. Until he and Kassie got news that would rock their worlds and change their entire lives....and the rest of their families lives.
