"Mom! I'm leaving!" Sunoo yelled as he made his way to the door. He didn't wait for a response and proceeded to his car.

He pressed the button on his key and the door opened automatically. He sat on the driver's seat discarding his bag and coat to the empty seat beside him.

Once he's ready, he starts the engine just as when his mother walked out of their house.

"Dear! You forgot your phone! Again!" She said followed by a playful chuckle while waving her hand which was holding the latter's phone.

Sunoo huffed and opened the window of the car so he could reach for his phone.

"Thanks. I'll be staying at work late. You and Dad don't need to wait for me again!" He reminded his mother while putting the phone in the pocket of his coat.

"Who said we were waiting for you? We were just having a movie night!" His mother defended with a childish pout.

"Yeah. Whatever. I'll get going." Sunoo muttered before eventually driving out of their garage.

His mom watched with her pout slowly fading away.

It has been 2 years since what happened to her son. She and Hyunbin, her now husband and Sunoo's step dad, already got married a year later. And they hoped that their marriage would be a good distraction for Sunoo.

But he is somehow broken and unfixable anymore. He's not as bubbly as he was before. It was hard to see him smile nor hear him laugh. And it's hard to approach him now because he always intimidates everyone thinking he might snap anytime.

But not just him. Even Giselle. But unlike Sunoo, Giselle became a quiet type of person. She still hangs out with her friends though but she's not as talkative as before. She also tried dating lots of guys but none of them worked out because they couldn't seem to reach the standard that Jay set up for her. And it made it harder for her to move on because until now she still blames herself that she and Jay didn't have a proper goodbye because she messed it up.

A year ago. They have lost all contacts they have from the vampires. Even Arin who often got visits from her daughter Ningning no longer sees her too. When they went to the location of the hotel, the place was completely empty like the hotel never existed in the first place.

Arin was of course devastated but she figured that the vampires knew better of what is good for her daughter. So she chose to trust them and hoped that one day, she'll be able to see her daughter again. But the loneliness did not help her to move on so she decided to leave Korea and moved to Beijing for a fresh start.

It wasn't just the vampires whom they lost contact with. Even Winter who had married Jake in secret. She also disappeared with them.

Karina tried to look for her when she got the news that the vampires disappeared. But it was like she's trying to capture a bubble and turn it into stone. She tried to ask Yeonjun for help but he somehow ceased to exist and she couldn't get any trace to look for him at all.

He was supposed to stay working for the CIA in order to keep the files protected. But when Karina tried to reach out to him, she only then found out that Yeonjun retired from work. And before he left, he made sure he wouldn't leave any trace. It's as if he vanished.

So Soobin was the only one to help her but their investigations eventually came to an end. Soobin had also decided to resign from his job and settled with Kai in their dream house.

So technically, Karina was left alone to hope that she may find any trace of the vampires. The last straw of it was when she, Sunoo and Giselle went to visit the territory of the Daoan Pack. But nobody seems to stop them from trespassing. The wolves did not even show up.
They tried to ask from the Grim Empire but they said that the officials had stopped going to work and chose to work at their homes.
