"You did not tell them?" Danielle asked as they watched the car slowly disappear from their sight upon watching at the rooftop of the hotel.

"About what?" The vampire unconsciously asked.

"The real reason why you all can't go back to the hotel just yet... Because the last descendant of Sates offered the Frankenstein Castle as your new home." She replied and Jungwon immediately turned to her.

"I'm afraid that I'm not the one who should tell them that. If I tell them now, it might break their heart. Especially after knowing that Niki and Jay are back." He explained and Danielle didn't ask any further questions.

It was quiet between them for a few minutes. Until Jungwon decided to break the ice.

"Do you still want to go? We still have enough time to go back before the children wake up." He offered and Danielle's face immediately brightened up with a smile as she nodded her head.

Jungwon offered her hand to the girl. She took it without hesitation and held onto the vampire as he carefully carried her bridal style.

To have a closer look at his gorgeous face made Danielle feel very nervous. Jungwon is handsome just by looking at him from afar. But to be this close to him. She felt surreal.

"Let's go." He smiled at her before jumping off the roof.

The two flew above the forest.

The truth is that Danielle can also fly. She also has wings. Her people are born with the power to surf the sky and fly along the strong wind of the atmosphere. And flying is their basic ability even for those who are not so powerful.

But she never told Jungwon about it because she too also desires to be close to him. And Jungwon had already fought with her people so he might have an idea that the Cins have wings too but he never asked her about it.

Because the feeling is mutual.

Although they haven't really known each other for a long time. Danielle still finds herself very attracted to him. Everything about the vampire draws her in and makes her curious and desperate to know more about him.

Everyday he visits feels like the first for her. And she always remembers the first time she met Jungwon. The way their eyes locked as if they just found what they've been looking for ages. It felt weird but comfortable. That the two of them always look forward to meeting each other again.

As the two flew above the trees. Danielle decided to speak about one of the topics they've never really tackled before.

"Come to think of it. This could be the last time we'll be seeing each other. But we don't even know each other's name." She said almost inaudibly.

Jungwon looked at her upon hearing what she said. As their eyes locked. The vampire slowly flew down to the ground, in the middle of the dark and dangerous forest.

Even though they landed. He didn't put her down and just continued to carry her. Her gaze remained glued on her beautiful face.

"I would never ask for your name while we are here. You and I might not see each other for a while. So if I give you my name now, it would feel like this is a farewell." He said and Danielle lowered her gaze from him.

Jungwon sensed that she wanted to step on the ground so he carefully put her down.

The young lady kept her gaze low as she stood amicably in front of him.

"If not a farewell... What are we doing here then?" She asked while fidgeting with her fingers.

Jungwon smiled a bit. Then he stepped closer and gently took her hand.

"We're here to see each other off. I won't be leaving here until everyone comes from the headquarters to pick you up and the children."

"One day. I will come and find you. And once I do, only then will I ask for your name."

Danielle slowly looked up to him with a pout.

"Arcadia is a hundred times bigger than earth. You know it by now after you fought for our planet. How can you find me if you don't even know my name?" She asked and the worry is very evident in her expression and tone.

"It will be hard. But that is a challenge I will willingly accept to find you again. You and I have only known each other for barely a week. But I trust that what I know about you is enough for me to look for you. And I could only ask for your trust in me."

"So this is how the people from your century pursue the woman they like? It's very charming... but I find it hard to trust you on finding me by knowing very little. What you know about me could be seen among my peers. And I fear that you might have trouble finding me."

"I can recognize you. Even if I find them the same as you, you're different that only I can recognize that."

"I want to trust you. And I am also willing to challenge the time waiting for you. However time is not on my side and it flows differently in Arcadia than it does on this planet."

"For you it might take a few months. But those few months will bring me to my coming of age. And because of the chaos that Gammon made. Our family will betroth me to another who will help to continue our family's pure bloodline."

"I don't have anything to make them stop that. But you have. If you give it to me, it will stop them from forcing me into a marriage I do not wish to have. It will also make it easier for you to find me."

"Forgive me. I do not understand. What is it that you think I have that will prevent them from doing that?" Jungwon asked almost immediately.

The news that she could be married off to another family is big. And he doesn't want her to be.

Before he became a vampire. Jungwon was raised by his parents to always fight for what he desires the most. He was raised to not go down without a fight. Especially if he wants to achieve something so bad.

Even when it comes to winning over the heart of the woman he likes. He was thought to be persistent and patient. To show them that he is willing to take any challenge by fairly showing that he is deserving. One of the reasons why Danielle finds Jungwon very old school. Because he's doing exactly as he learned. But this time, his courtesy is not enough to prevent her from getting betrothed.
