K and Heeseung abruptly stopped when they both heard a howl coming from the forest. They looked at each other and nodded as if knowing what it meant.

"I'll call the others. We'll meet in the forest." Heeseung said as they both exited his office.

Ej and K left in a hurry. Shifting as they got to the woods and howling as to summon the pack to a certain location.

By the time they're near the heart of the forest, many wolves are already running alongside them.

"We saw tracks of heavy vehicles from the West border. I think they took that path." Nicholas said to their alpha telepathically.

The west border also led to the shore. Which points to China. Many smugglers have taken the path before and the Daoan caught them multiple times since it's only just a discreet number of people.

However this time is actually different. Because the Northern country keeps sending more people.

"Yuma! Maki! Alert Heeseung and his crew and lead them to the west border!" K ordered the other two wolves.

Maki and Yuma immediately steered east to head to the vampire's territory. Not more than five minutes considering their speed, the wolves stopped upon meeting with all of the vampires.

Maki shifts and growls before relaying the message.

"Alpha wants you to follow us to the west border. We will lead the way." He said before shifting back to a wolf again.

The vampires exchanged looks with each other before following the two wolves. When they reached the west border. It was eerily quiet and the Daoans are currently in their human form.

Hiding.

"Check. What can you see?" K asked, sensing that Heeseung stood by his side.

All of the vampires' eyes went red as they scan the shore with their blood red eyes. The shore is covered with mist up to the sea. So it would be very hard to see if something is in there.

"They used up to a total of 50 boats to get to the shore. They are not bringing any heavy equipment." Jake said.

"Wait! There's another boat heading back to their ship." Sunghoon suddenly said and squinted his eyes.

"I see it. They must've brought in vehicles to the shore. But there's no trucks or cars!" Niki added.

"The tracks. We saw that not far from our camp!" Nicholas exclaimed and looked at K.

"Jungwon and I will scour the forest from the air. It will be easier since both of us are the only ones who can fly." Danielle suggested.

Heeseung only nodded his head and that was enough for the couple to leave and fly away from their location.

Once they were gone, K briefly checked on Ej but he had not shown any expression at all since they left the Hotel.

The last topic they were discussing was about the mark before they heard the call from one of the wolves.

"Let's all be careful. They're heavily armed and I can smell a great deal of silver." K alerted everyone.

"What's gonna be our plan? I don't think killing them will end this." Jay said and looked at the two leaders.

"That's true. And that's exactly why we sent the others to capture the main root of this cause. If it goes well on their end, they'll be on their way to the hotel. We just need to play a little with his mind before we smuggle him back to his own country." Heeseung said with a sudden sly smirk.

"But for the fresh meats here. They're in for a good game. However this time. We are not gonna sink their ship. Let us keep it and leave a few personnel around so that once we lure the NIS to step in, they will take care of the rest." K added.

"But that would mean that we won't be able to enter the forest for the time being. Especially if we let the authorities investigate!" Nicholas exclaimed upon understanding what the plan could bring to them.

"For the time being, yes. But this place has been our territory for centuries. We've been here all our lives so I hope that a small count of years will be enough for us to stay away fromt he forest. But I will find a way to make sure we can still visit from time to time." K assured his entire pack as he could see all the worries they have.

Almost half of the pack are born and trained in their camp in the heart of the forest. Many had grown attached to the place and to leave it would be like leaving their wounded mothers to death.

"You're filthy rich. Just buy the entire land!" Heeseung said a little playfully and nudged the alpha on his shoulder.

"He already bought it. It's actually named after our empire. The Grim Forest." Ej said quite bluntly and Heeseung only nodded a little awkwardly.

"Okay! Wolves stay on the ground. My crew and I will infiltrate the ship and leave maybe 20 or 30 people around. So it wouldn't seem too obvious that there's a massacre." Heeseung said and then beckoned his friends to come with him.

The mist alone gave them the advantage. But what made them more excited is because nobody among the humans on the shore knows what they're up against. They could all feel their fear. Some of them think there is a monster that rose from the legends of the forest.

Heeseung walked among them first. Quiet and slow. His eyes were red as he watched the human pass by him since they could not see him due to the thick mist.

Jake and Jay also walked in. And soon followed by Niki. The five vampires walked like they're ghosts and reached the water. They continued walking until they were under the sea and swam towards the ship. Bringing with them the nightmare that humans will beg to wake from.

Meanwhile on the shore….

"They're all using silver bullets that can hurt us. My officials and I have trained you to fight and now is the time for you to show me how much you learned. As much as possible. No bullets shall pierce our skin." K spoke to his wolves and each and everyone growled to express the huge eagerness to prove themselves.

Soon enough. K let out a loud howl which served as the command for his pack to attack. The vampires heard it too and they rose their heads to the surface briefly to look at the shore. Seeing the wolves marching towards the unaware humans still in their human form.

K took the lead and stood quietly on a certain spot. It didn't take long before one of the soldiers walked to his front and was baffled to see a man standing and glowering at him like he's a walking meat.

And before he could scream, his throat was clawed open in a blink of an eye. His body dropped to the sand as it twitched and soon life left his body.
