"I heard about Jungwon. He must've been very happy to reunite with his mate." K said to Heeseung.

The two decided to go to the shore a few hours after their arrival. Ej and Jake also came with them but they are behind talking to each other.

"He is. The good thing is that we didn't have to explain to Danielle what might possibly happen. Especially because Jungwon had not drank anything after the incident. Yalex had told her everything she needed to know." The vampire said.

They continued to talk more until they arrived at the shore. Meeting Winter and Karina who had been there watching since yesterday.

"You're here! How was the wedding?" Winter asked as she approached Jake with a hug and a kiss on his cheek.

"As promised. I tried to take a video of what I can." Jake said to him in a playful tone and gently carried the girl before swaying her in a circle.

"We've been here all night. There's still nothing." Karina said to the other three. But mostly side eyeing Heeseung which didn't go unnoticed to the vampire.

"Did you take a scroll?" K asked as he scanned the area with his eyes.

"We did. Every two hours. There's nothing and the traps your boys left are still untouched." Karina replies and then turns to Ej.

"Aren't you supposed to be recuperating? You were in pretty bad shape. I'm human but I know what happened to you nearly killed you." She says to him which made everyone look at Ej.

The wolf looked briefly at K first and then he cleared his throat.

"I'm a wolf. I heal pretty quick. And besides we have a healer." He says.

"Did you mark him already? He seems okay now." Heeseung suddenly asked K telepathically which made him flustered a bit but he quickly kept his composure.

"I didn't you idi*t. I tried when he was asleep but your friends suddenly arrived and interrupted me. Thanks by the way." K fires back sarcastically while eyeing the vampire.

"So he's still in bad shape. I'm surprised you let him come out instead of staying indoors to heal."

"He wouldn't listen to me. And if I order him to, he'll keep showing me that he is against it and make me feel bad!"

"You're really whipped for him."

"You two are becoming weird! What's up!" Karina suddenly snapped at the two since they've been eyeing each other weirdly for some time now. Jake and Winter also noticed it and had to stop gushing at each other.

Heeseung cleared his throat and looked at Karina.

"Nothing. K and I will take a stroll just to make sure. Stay here for now." He said and gestured the alpha to leave with him.

And as they approach the forest. Jake and Ej could hear them bickering while whispering to each other.

"Those two are becoming oddly close. I'm not comfortable with it." Karina muttered while glaring at the direction the two disappeared to.

Ej looks at her innocently and he could tell from her face that Karina has a turf with Heeseung. It's like a lady problem that boys had to understand even without asking.

"Yeah. But not really surprising." Jake says and makes a telescope appear. He put it near the water and used it to look at the sea to see if there was any boat nearby.

It's dusk and the mist is everywhere which also makes it hard for anyone to see clearly.

"We should take all the heads down now and bury them. It's smelling really bad." Winter suggested.
