"Triple the security. Any humans that you sense lurking around our territory. I wanna be informed right away. Is that clear!!?"

"Yes alpha!!!" The entire pack yells upon receiving the command of their leader.

Everyone immediately shifted and dashed to each of their posts. Leaving only the officials in the base camp.

"We've been quiet all this time… Are we finally stepping into the light now? What if it's just a trap?" Taki asks and looks up at his aggressed brother.

"If it's a trap. We might as well bite our way out of it." Nicholas sighs before also shifting with the rest of the officials and leaving as well.

"Taki. From now on. I forbid you to enter the camp." 

"What!!? No!!!" The younger quickly refused. Making his alpha look down at him with a glare.

"You are my greatest treasure. And I will not see you get hurt even if it's just a nick. So I must heed you to follow my command. You are forbidden to enter our territory." he said and Taki lowered his head and forcefully agreed.

He wouldn't hate his brother for it because he too, knows how much it broke his brother's heart when he died. He loves K too much to give him that same pain again.

But he hates the fact that he can only stay back while his pack is in danger.

"Fuma. You too. I also forbid you to enter our territory." He said to the wolf. 

Although he doesn't want to. Fuma has no other choice but to respect the command of his leader.

"At least tell me why. Why must I back off when now is the time that the pack needs me the most?" He asks without trying to look at K in the eye.

"Exactly my point. In any case, our wolves are hurt. You shall remain safe to come to their aid. I will only summon you if someone gets hurt. But while there is no one, bring Taki home now and you will look after him and make sure he does not set foot in the forest." K explains.

Fuma looks up at him and nods his head. He then turned to Taki and beckoned the young wolf to leave with him.

"Be careful. I will do as you ask. But I want you to go home and be the one to tell me that I'm not forbidden to go back to our woods anymore. Promise me." Taki said to him as he rushed to hug his beloved brother.

K smiled as he wrapped the smaller wolf into his big arms. "I promise. Now go." He said to him and gently pushed his brother to Fuma.

Taki and Fuma shifted and eventually left. Leaving only Ej with K. He had been quiet ever since they got there up to the two leaving them.

"Are you not gonna forbid me to come here too?" He asks with a blunt expression on his face.

"You won't go even if I order you to. I tried it before and you literally disobeyed me even if it hurted you." K said to him with a light chuckle.

"It's not like everything will go out of hand. The vampires are in the same situation. I know you and Heeseung will do anything to make sure our existence remains secret." 

"Exactly. But there's nothing wrong with taking extra precautions." K smiled at him and patted his shoulder.

His gaze suddenly landed on the bite mark on his neck. It makes his skin crawl whenever he sees the mark so he quickly looks away.

Ej lived despite Jungwon feeding him. Therefore, he bore his mark since he lived. K hoped it wouldn't happen since Ej is a wolf but it still did. He became Jungwon's mate and they have yet to discuss it with the vampires. Heeseung will eventually catch on.
