A Tale of Vampires: RETURN

Karina had just finished washing the dishes when her senses picked up that someone entered the kitchen. It can't be Heeseung because he just entered the shower like five minutes ago.

Quietly. She sneakily moved her hand to the cupboard and took the gun she hid there. The sooner she grabbed a hold of it, she quickly turned around and pointed the gun to whoever entered the kitchen.

"Good morning." Winter blankly greeted as she sat herself on a stool. Ningning and Jungwon also took a seat beside her.

Jungwon leaned his body on the table and placed his chin on his hands. Looking at Karina with a teasing smile.

"So you two are dating now? Last time I remember, you were busy with your 'spying on us' job." He said and Karina calmly lowered her gun, tucking it behind her shorts.

"It's great to see you again Jungwon. You too." She said as she also turned to the ladies.

"Where's Heeseung?" Ningning immediately asked.

"He's in the shower of course. Can't you see they got laid last night?" Winter teased followed by a derisive laugh as she handed out her palm to Ningning. The she-vampire rolled her eyes as she pulled out a dollar and gave it to her.

Karina made a face at them just as when Heeseung walked in still with wet hair. He must've heard the other three and figured to come out from showering.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he made his way behind Karina and shamelessly hugged her from behind. Eliciting a very visible blush from the agent.

Both Winter and Ningning couldn't help but tease her first while Jungwon was the one to seriously respond to Heeseung.

"Jay hyung told us to come get you. There are illegal loggers from the north that trespassed our territory." Jungwon said and Heeseung was quiet for a bit. Obviously reading from their memories before he stood properly and nodded his head in understanding.

"So they already went to the forest first." He said and the three nodded.

"We should go. Do you wanna come with us?" Heeseung turned to Karina and she simply nodded.

The five left the penthouse right away and went to the forest. They tracked down the vampires who went there first and found them just before sundown.

Jay told Heeseung what they have observed so far. And luckily, the humans are only just preparing to cut more trees.

"If you kill them all, the NIS will step in. These people are from the North whether it was ordered or not. If they die, the north will send more people. Are you just gonna keep killing them?" Karina says.

"Yes." Heeseung's blunt answer surprised everyone.

"I'm sorry. Did you just say yes? Didn't you hear what the bi*ch just said?!" Winter retorted, earning a glare from the agent because of her comment.

"Let them send an army. I don't care. They are the ones trespassing our territory. And even more, our country. They know they are in the wrong spot and they'll do anything to make sure that neither the NIS or the South Korea's military won't hear about it because it will destroy their country's reputation." Heeseung stated with complete spite on his tone.

"That's true. But what about the Daoan pack? They bring the trespassers to the humans. And they said that NIS took them." Sunghoon said. He seemed quite worried that it might cause complications.

"Then you can go and let them know of our plan. Talk directly to K. He'll understand, and if you can. Make them do the same." Heeseung stated firmly.

Sunghoon simply nodded and beckoned Ningning to come with him. The two left right away to bring the news to the wolves.

Once they were gone, Heeseung signaled his friends to get ready.

He was the first to jump off the cliff with Karina. And then the others follow.

"Be sure to keep quiet. Nobody can see our faces. Kill them all from behind. And leave no one alive." Heeseung warned and they all nodded.

He was the first to begin the attack. Quietly and quickly standing behind one of the guards and clawing his throat open.

Jay and Jake went next. Feeding from their victims while covering their mouths to prevent them from squirming. Karina and Winter also joined in even though they were hesitant.

Soon, every soul in the area is dying one by one without anyone knowing. They all stopped when they sensed a group of wolves coming from the opposite direction.

Heeseung grinned with satisfaction. They have the humans cornered and they have no idea of what's coming for them.

Almost all the humans are dead except those that are doing the cuttings. Clueless to the group of murderers that will ambush them in the next few minutes.

One of the men stopped when he heard low growls. It seemed to be coming from everywhere.

"Hey!!! Snap out of it! We have a lot of work to do!" The man in charge yelled at him so he had no choice but to continue working.

He turned his back from where he heard the growls and only seconds later. He felt goosebumps all over his body and it seemed like someone was standing behind him.

He stopped again and slowly turned. But before he could do so, he felt something sharp pierced his neck. And soon enough his head was removed from his body.

The vampires killed the humans one by one while the wolves destroyed all the equipment there. It only took less than five minutes to kill everyone until only one injured man was left.

His legs were bitten off by Nicholas but he was spared alive for the last minute to witness how everything they worked hard to bring there were all destroyed into useless things.

"My my. I may have been too nice!" Nicholas hummed as he walked towards the man who was crawling away for his dear life.

"Filthy humans always smell so delicious." Jungwon suddenly landed behind the man and eyed him like he was the most delicious meat that existed.

The man stopped crawling and begged them to spare his life.

"Please! I-I have a family!!!! Spare me! I swear to my life. I'll never tell anyone!" The man begged very desperately and hugged Jungwon on his knees as he is the one who's closer to him.

But unbeknownst to the poor human. It only made the vampire more drawn to his blood. The more scared he becomes. The tastier his blood would be for them.

"Shhhhh… Don't worry." Jungwon crouched down to face level with the man and brushed his hair. His eyes were beet red and he could feel his throat dry, and his fangs itching to rip the man's neck and drain him off his blood.

"You seem like a very nice man. I will spare you from the pain. It will be very quick." He said.

It terrified the human and he quickly tried to crawl away from him. It made Nicholas laugh and he immediately stopped the man from crawling. He used his power to make him float and he started screaming, begging for them to spare him.

"Alpha said leave no one alive." Nicholas muttered in a heavy and dark voice.

"And hyung says…."

"Leave no one alive."
