How could you hate someone for what they'd done but still love them for who they'd been?

That was the question I asked myself. Of course I loved my mother, it hadn't lessened even after the tragedy she committed apon me

Well, maybe it had but I wasn't sure.

I looked down at my hands, the sleeves were still covered in dried blood. I had tried to scrub it out but it hadn't worked very well, just seeming to spread it.

It like we'd been in the mountains for ages. I walked past Kratos and was met by a blinding light form the sudden brightness. I squinted and my eyes met the summit of the mountain, a large tree could be seen in the distance. It looked oddly familiar, I couldn't quite put my finger on it though

I looked back at Kratos, he had a different look in his eyes then when we had first met. The way he looked at me had changed completely when I blanked out at Alfheim and even worse when I was humming that familiar tune

He'd had a look of such fear and maybe even hatred or loathing?

I swear he froze for a few minutes before shushing me and walking away to "Collect firewood" even though we had a big stack of it already, his mind had seemed clouded back then and now he looked at me with such fascination. But not in that way, in the way a person takes apart a machine in an attempt to understand it. They want to understand every part and why it does certain things but Kratos could not seem to understand me, he hesitated to look at me but only slightly

He always quieted me when I hummed, he'd bluntly just tell me to be quiet. I'd listen of course but Atreus and I were always confused

I'd been traveling with them for the last few days and it had been an alright expedition. After they saved Charlie I had offered to let them ask questions, not about me specifically, just about anything I might know. Atreus had already asked his questions, I'd put a stopping amount of three but Kratos had opted to save his

"Look, the summit! We're so close!" Atreus exclaimed, bringing me back from my thoughts

The snowy ridge that lead to the summit was rather narrow, not extremely but if we were to get attacked there it would be difficult not to fall. Non the less, Kratos started walking with Atreus and I following

Alot had happened in the last few days, I think had almost been a week. We'd cleared the smoke that stopped us from continuing up the mountain but on our way up the mountain we had encountered many enemies, including a large lighting spewing dragon

I'd also met Brok's brother, Sindri, who had been under attack from the dragon. A more level headed man then Brok though I think I preferred Brok. Sindri had gifted Atreus had glass arrows enchanted with mistletoe. He had also enchanted Atreus's bow with one of the dragons teeth, giving it a electric powers

Sindri had noticed my elemental daggers and dug through some of his stuff and given me another elemental stone. So, I had both ice, fire and lightning now

I looked to see that we were almost all the way across the ridge, there was a tall wall that seemingly had cracks in it. It looked climbable, but I noticed the thick bramble.

We had all stopped in front of the wall, Kratos looked around. The bramble was thick, it was unlikely we weren't going to be able to pass it.
