Phil's head bobbed along as Arizona laid down a rather last minute track that she had written, looking to her producer, Ultron, who was fiddling with the controls that adjusted the sound and vocals. "It's sounding good..."

"She's got a vision for the album after this new one she's putting down, so she wanted to play around with this song to see whether we can pull it off".

"Sounds like Ari". Phil smiled, watching his soon to be step daughter as she finished up and then looked at both men through the window of the booth.

"That sounded shit didn't it?"

Ultron shook his head as she came out and sighed. "If anything it sounds exactly how you wanted". He said, playing back the track demo. "Just a couple of tweaks here and there".

"What vision you looking at Ari?" Phil asked as he listened.

"Eighties or along the lines of that, but obviously modernising it somewhat to keep people interested". She explained. "Once I'm done with the album we're doing now? Then I can think more clearly for it".

Phil smiled. "Well, that's enough for today, your mom and I are gonna be leaving for the venue soon, check in from
2pm" he checked his watch. "Did you find a plus one?"

She nodded. "Yeah, and before you ask whether we're dating it's a no. But as Eros is away, I had to ask Steve".

Phil looked surprised. "And he actually agreed?"

"Yeah, fuck knows why, anyway he's gonna be there so please don't be telling his manager, or his publicist for that matter, they probably think the same as everyone else about me tarnishing his name".

Even if they had worked together, Arizona had known that for Fury and Hill, it was just a PR opportunity to keep their client in the press at the time considering he had a film coming out.
The rumours about Steve and Sharon were also hot too and she hadn't the courage to ask him whether he'd finally sorted his life out. Maybe he'd actually tell her when they saw one another.

At least she'd know where they stood.

Arizona arrived at the venue where the wedding was supposed to be taking place, checking into her room and sighing. She'd need to text Steve and see whether he still was coming. The details about it all had been sent to him, but still, she wouldn't be surprised if he didn't show.

She'd blown things out of proportion. Arizona knew that she should have at least given him a chance to explain instead of getting angry.

She messaged, and within minutes her phone buzzed.

Rogers: Room 105.

Steve sent the message, knowing that Arizona was now here and sat back, his conversation with Fury and Hill fresh in his mind.

And it had been about Sharon.

"She makes for good press Steve, if you wanna be taken more seriously with these different roles you want to try? Then may we suggest that you stop whatever it is you have going on with Arizona Allen and show these producers and casting agents that you aren't the fuck boy the press have classed you as. It's not good for the image, it needs to be clean, stable. You need to show you're growing within yourself and not just as an actor. These films? They want people who they know will give them a good image". Hill advised as Fury had stood watching on.

"Arizona's just a friend".

Fury snorted. "Bitch please, we're not stupid. We know you've been tapping that ass since her video shoot".

"How the fuck..."

"Phil saw you go into her trailer and then come out sometime later, now he's said nothing to Arizona that he knows, but he sure as hell does. You fucking about with the girl who writes songs about her exes? Do you really wanna become part of that narrative?"

Steve hadn't been about to tell them that he most likely already was.

"We had an offer from Apple TV - they want you for some nitty gritty murder series. But the only thing holding you back from them wanting you? It's the press that's been going about. They want stable and serious. If you don't give them that then you can bet your life you'll start losing other roles because of it as well - then you'll be done". Fury carried on. "You really wanna risk your career for negative press to continue?"

Even now as sat in the hotel room, he knew what he had to do. Even before the talk with Fury, he'd been thinking about how deep he was getting. It was now going beyond the norm of what they had agreed on.

In truth it scared him but it was typical he'd start feeling like this when he'd been given an ultimatum.

He knew what he had to do though, and now that Ari knew that he was here, he wasn't about to ruin a wedding for her. He decided that after it was over, then he would speak with her.

It all had to come to an end at some point.
