"So how was your threesome?" Steve asked as they lay there a while later, the sounds of the party still going strong from downstairs. No one had noticed they were missing and if Arizona had been honest, the thought of someone potentially catching them? It was thrilling.

She hated the fact that Steve had been right about that, but wasn't about to admit that to him. No way.

She huffed, "It wasn't a threesome. It was dinner with two friends".

"I wouldn't have classed you and Eros as that". He admitted freely. "You looked cosy leaving the restaurant".

"It's none of your business anyway, I don't question about you and Sharon like this". She now became a little defensive. Who was he to comment on it?

He nodded. "True, but you're looking for a boyfriend whereas I'm looking for nothing. Can you trust him?"

"Probably more than I could trust you". She shot back. "He's probably the only guy who's actually stuck by me though the crap I've been dealt with, and by crap I mean exes".

"So does he fall into the friend zone then?"

She shrugged. "He's never tried anything if that's what you're asking, and I don't expect him to either. Can't I have guy friends without someone fucking asking whether we're screwing?"

Steve smirked. "No. Because it's you".

"Well we're just friends. Ok?"

"Ok". He said, knowing that she was getting pissed off talking about it. "He's not the type you go for anyway".

She stared at him. "Like you'd know, but maybe that's what I need - someone who isn't".

"You attract douche bags, there I said it".

"You do realise you also fall into that category, regardless of being a fuck buddy or not".

Steve shrugged it off. "Whatever, I've heard worse, but you know I'm right, even you can't deny that much".

Arizona sighed, realising that he was. "Yeah...I guess so. Anyway after the shit I had with Brock, I've decided here and now that I won't be looking for something serious until I know I'm ready for it, and that I can trust whoever it is".

She still had time.

Saying no more on the matter (he wasn't about to get into a conversation about Brock), he got up and found his clothes, while she did the same - both of them would be missed sooner or later and they needed to not raise suspicion.

"So...wanna go smoke?" He asked, holding up the pack of cigarettes.

"After that? I need one for sure".

"Not gonna do your voice of yours any favours". He stated as they walked back down to the party, with Arizona heading out for a few minutes before he appeared.

She shrugged as they lit a cigarette each, "You already hate it so I don't care". Telling him once they were out of ear shot of the others.

"Yeah but your fans do. You told me you were giving up anyway".

"This is my first in a good few weeks, and what about you? You giving up at some point?" She eyed him, letting the smoke escape between her lips.

"The cigarettes or life in general?"

She snorted at this. "And you say I'm the one who's dramatic".

"Fine - how about we make a pact, these are both our last cigarettes, whoever caves first if they do? Has to pay the forefit".

"Which is?"

He now looked at her with a rather devilish smirk. "You lose? I sweet talk you during sex".

Her nose wrinkled to express her distaste of what he was suggesting. "That sounds disgusting, I hate this pact already". Then she sighed. "Fine, but if you lose? I'm not sucking you off, AND..." She paused. "I'll compliment you during sex".

"I'd rather stick pins in my eyes". He inhaled his cigarette deeply, savouring what was to be his last - apparently. "Ok, we gonna shake on it?"

"We'll we're not gonna fuck on it, so yeah?" She rolled her eyes, extending her hand and shaking his so that the deal was sealed. Steve extinguished the cigarette and showed her, then disposing of it along with the rest of the box in the trash can nearby.

"See. Already making progress". He said, watching her finish her own and then also disposing of it.

"You won't be saying that when you lose this bet Rogers". She chided and threw him a look. No way was she about to let him win this. She wouldn't ever hear the end of it, and quite frankly if his head got any bigger? It wouldn't be fitting through any doors.

He just looked at her in his usual smug way that made her want to punch him. "You should know, I'm stubborn - I've already won this".

"Guess we'll just have to wait and see". Turning on her heel, she headed off to find Nat while he made his way over to Bucky, who was sat at the bar.

His friend eyed him curiously. "Since when did you and Arizona become besties?"

"We're not, we were just having a cigarette, then made a bet as to who could give it up and not cave"

"What did you bet?"

"Money" Steve lied, not even dreaming of telling Bucky what the true stakes were. "Haven't decided on the amount yet".

Bucky chuckled. "Well all I can say is good luck. She seems just as stubborn as you are".

Steve now eyed Arizona from where she was across the pool and shook his head. "She's already lost..."
