In the three years that they had been together, Steve and Arizona had kept a fairly low profile, choosing to spend it in Vermont and focusing on one another. They were rarely seen out together and after everything that happened? It was no wondered that they had decided to keep everything private and out of the press, something that they didn't think that they would have been able to do
In that time the music hadn't been the top priority for Arizona, however it had given her time to work on new styles and songs. Releasing '89', she still had two albums to release in due course, but critics were saying that her latest was her best to date. It had broken records and the reaction had been overwhelming.
Steve had been back and forth filming, choosing projects that had been closer to home and where he wouldn't be away for too long, not that his wife minded - she was all but too eager to kick him out of the house so she could "have some peace" in her words.
Charming.
It wasn't usual to visit and hear them throwing insults back at one another, and the people who knew them knew that these were more in jest than anything else. Ok, sometimes the arguments could be scathing, however it usually ended up with them telling the other to go fuck themselves before heading to the bedroom to have good old fashioned angry sex.
Except now there was kissing and making up after.
They complimented one another, fitted together like a puzzle with the most complex of pieces.
At the end of the day, all that mattered was one another,
And that is exactly what they had needed all along...
