Y/n's P.O.V.:

As we pulled up into the driveway of my new home, I felt a profound sense of relief washing over me. This place had somehow become a source of comfort already and despite my sadness about leaving Jimin, a glimmer of relief coursed through me knowing that, at least for now, a difficult chapter was ending.

"We should probably go inside. Yumi is waiting for us," Jungkook suggested. I looked at him in surprise, "You called Yumi? You know you didn't have to do that," I said, feeling grateful but also guilty for burdening them. Jungkook laughed and shook his head, "She called me, and I explained what was going on. I told her she didn't have to come, but she insisted – you know how she is." Jungkook's smile was infectious, reminding me of Yumi's stubbornness.

I couldn't help but smile, knowing how headstrong Yumi could be. She was a force of nature, and if she had made up her mind, there was no changing it. Jungkook loved her for that very reason, and that's one of the things that brought them together. They were a couple that truly understood each other, as similar as two peas in a pod.

Exiting the car, I headed to the trunk to retrieve my belongings. Taehyung's voice stopped me. "Hey, Y/n, we've got your bags. You should go inside and say hi to Yumi," he said, making sure I didn't overexert myself. I turned to him and Jungkook, feeling grateful for their support. "Are you guys sure?" I hesitated, not wanting to burden them further. They both nodded, and Jungkook even popped the trunk open. "Yeah, go. She's here for you anyway," Jungkook said, shooing me toward the house.

I walked up to the door, ready to open it myself, but before I could, Yumi burst through it. "Unnie!" she yelled with genuine excitement, embracing me tightly. I laughed, returning her hug with warmth, "Hi, Yumi," I said, a sense of comfort settling in as I looked into her eyes.

Yumi, still in her enthusiastic state, promptly took my hand and pulled me inside. She plopped me down on the couch, concern in her eyes. "Are you okay? That jerk didn't hurt you, did he? I'm ready to throw hands if he did. I know I look small, but I can still kick his ass," she declared, forming fists in her determination to protect me.

I shook my head and waved my hands in front of me, dismissing the thought. "No, no, I won't let any of you hurt him," I assured her. Yumi was relentless, "But Unnie!" she protested, making me shake my head. "I already have to keep Kook and Tae at bay. I don't want to have to worry about you too," I said, feeling overwhelmed. "I don't understand why you still try to protect him," Yumi pondered, pouting at my decision. Jungkook chimed in from behind me, "I wonder that too."

I turned to Jungkook and Taehyung, both entering the room with my bags. "Hi, Kook," Yumi greeted, a warm smile on her face. Jungkook returned her smile, pulling her into his embrace. Taehyung took a seat beside me, and we watched the two of them, their affectionate gestures not unnoticed. Taehyung leaned in, whispering into my ear, "Why does it always feel like we're third-wheeling them?" I giggled, sharing his observation. "That's probably because we are," I replied with a grin. "But as long as they're happy, I don't mind."

Taehyung shook his head, humor dancing in his eyes. "You really should stop being so nice. You could try being a little selfish every once in a while," he suggested playfully. I pretended to ponder his suggestion, raising an eyebrow, "Hmm, that's quite the idea. So, what exactly would the great Kim Taehyung have me be more selfish about?" I asked in jest. Taehyung rested his head on his hand, appearing deep in thought, "Well, maybe next time someone tries to force you into a marriage, you should say no," he playfully suggested, which made me frown.

Taehyung scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, sporting an awkward smile. "Too soon?" he asked, to which I responded with an exasperated huff and a playful smack on his shoulder. "You think?" I said, unable to suppress a smile, appreciating his efforts to make me laugh. Taehyung gave me a big, boxy grin, "Well, at least I got you to smile."
