Y/n's P.O.V.: (At Jungkook and Taehyung's house)

I entered the spacious kitchen at Jungkook and Taehyung's house, determined to retrieve some plates from the cabinet above the counter. However, they were frustratingly out of my reach, and I began to search for the step stool, a common fixture in the house. "Hey, Tae, have you seen the step stool?" I call out while scanning the room.

"What were you looking for?" I hear a soft whisper behind me, causing me to jump in surprise. I spun around, finding Taehyung grinning, I playfully swatted his shoulder. "You scared the crap out of me, Tae!" I scolded.

"Sorry," he says apologetically, his grin undiminished. "So, what did you need my help with?" he asks, wrapping his arms around me. I felt myself smile at his sweet gesture still not entirely used to all of the affection.

"I need some plates from the cabinet, but I can't reach them, and I can't find the step stool anywhere," I explained, gesturing toward the elusive plates above us. "Is that all you needed?" Taehyung inquires as he reaches for the plates. "Three should do – one for me, one for you, and one for the extra food. Jungkook had to go to work early today, so he won't be joining us." Taehyung nodded, easily retrieving the plates and placing them on the counter.

"I wish I had another day off so I could stay home with you," he mused, his lips curving into a pout as he pulled me into his arms once again. A warm smile crept onto my face, charmed by his adorable expression. "You need to go to work, Tae, and I'll be fine. Joon, Hobi, and Jin are coming over," I assured him.

"It will be good for you to catch up with them," Taehyung says nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck, "I know you really missed the hyungs while they were gone," he whispers slightly tickling my neck. I nodded with a smile, "Yeah, I did miss them. We didn't get a chance to talk the other day." "Well, now you'll have the chance," Taehyung encouraged.

"I hope so, but I'm also kind of nervous. What if they ask me about Jimin? We did surprise them the other day." Taehyung lifts his head from my shoulder so that he can look me in the eye, "Then tell them the truth! You haven't done anything wrong, so there's no reason to feel ashamed. Just tell them that Jimin is the one in the wrong because that's the truth."

After breakfast, Taehyung had to head to work, so I took the opportunity to continue unpacking my belongings. Despite Taehyung and my brother helping me with most of the boxes, I was eager to make my new room truly my own. I rearranged furniture and personal items until I felt satisfied with the results. As I admired my handiwork, I wiped the sweat from my brow, content with the progress.

I descended the stairs to grab a snack and planned to watch a movie when the doorbell rang, drawing my attention. "Y/n/n, open the door!" Hoseok's playful whine reached my ears, prompting me to laugh. "I'm coming!" I call, rushing to unlock the door. As I swing it open, I am greeted by three familiar faces, and Hoseok excitedly rushes to me, enveloping me in one of his signature bear hugs. "Hi, Hobi," I greet once I can breathe again. "Let go, Hoseok, you're going to squeeze her to death!" Namjoon scolded, prying Hoseok's strong arms from around me. I greeted each of them with a hug, and we settled down in the living room.

We spent the next few hours catching up and exchanging stories. They shared their experiences in America, highlighting the differences and exciting moments. They also revealed that they'd started a business venture but had sold it before returning to Korea. It felt great to reconnect with my old friends, and I was overjoyed that they were back for good.

"Not that it hasn't been great catching up with you, Y/n/n, but we had another reason for coming here today," Namjoon says, a serious expression replacing his usual cheerfulness. I nod, already suspecting the topic. "It's Jimin, right?" They all nod confirming my suspicions. "We've been staying with Jimin since you left the other day," Hoseok says, "And how is he doing?"I ask genuinely wanting to know how Jimin was faring. "We could lie to you and say that he's great, but in all honesty, he's not doing so good. He locked himself up in his room and spent the last two days there without food or water. I finally got him out of his room last night, and Yoongi is still back at the house taking care of him," Jin explained, his usual lighthearted demeanor replaced by concern.
