 Jin's P.O.V.:

It had been several long days since Y/n had reappeared in our lives, and Jimin was a complete mess. His emotional state was far worse than anyone could have anticipated. When Y/n had left with her brother and Taehyung, Jimin's sobs echoed throughout the house, haunting us. Namjoon had attempted to get Jimin to open up and share his feelings, but Jimin remained stubbornly tight-lipped.

One thing was certain: something significant had happened while we were away, something that had driven a wedge between Jimin and Y/n. I couldn't help but wonder what had gone so terribly wrong, causing this chasm between two people who had been so close. Moreover, I couldn't recall Y/n and Taehyung ever being this close. Sure, they were always relatively tight-knit due to Taehyung's friendship with Jungkook and Y/n's love for her brother, but this newfound closeness was a mystery.

The boys and I had been staying at Jimin's house since that fateful day, all in an effort to ensure his well-being. While Yoongi went over to Jimin's company to fill in for him while he was under the weather.  However, it didn't seem to have made much of a difference. Jimin had locked himself in his room for the past two days, refusing to eat and ignoring our pleas for him to come out.

I groggily rose from my bed, running my fingers through my disheveled hair and releasing a sigh. I wondered if any of the others had made any progress with Jimin today. Yesterday, I had spent hours attempting to coax him out, but I ultimately decided to retire for the night, leaving the responsibility to Namjoon.

Carefully descending the stairs, I moved stealthily, hoping not to disturb anyone who might still be asleep. As I neared the kitchen, I could hear quiet murmurs. Pushing open the door, I found Hoseok and Namjoon, each with a cup in hand and dark circles under their eyes.

"Good morning," I greet them, taking a seat on one of the barstools in front of them.

"Morning," they reply, offering tired smiles.

"Did you both stay up all night?" I inquire as Namjoon refills his coffee. He simply nods, not saying a word, while Hoseok replies, "Yeah, we spent all of last night by Jimin's door, but he wouldn't even open it."

I sigh and shake my head, "So, he hasn't said anything about what happened?"

"Nope," Namjoon responds placing a cup of coffee in front of me. I thanked him and took a sip, hoping the caffeine would help me wake up.

"I wonder if we should try talking to Y/n?" Hoseok suggested.

Namjoon shook his head, "I don't think Y/n would know. Jimin isn't great at expressing himself. If Y/n knew what was going on, she would have fixed it by now, and she wouldn't have moved out."

I nod in agreement, sighing, "If I had to guess, it was probably Jimin who pushed her away."

"You're right, Y/n would never do anything to harm her and Jimin's relationship," Hoseok added.

Reflecting on our high school days, I recalled that Jimin had always been like this. When something went wrong, he'd shut himself off emotionally. The only difference now was that he'd distanced himself from Y/n, something he'd never done before.

Flashback: Jin's POV ( When they were in high school):

I pushed open the heavy gymnasium door, instantly greeted by the harmonious symphony of sneakers squeaking and laughter echoing through the room. It was a mostly empty space, occupied by me, the rest of the boys, Y/n, and a handful of others who were patiently awaiting the conclusion of the basketball team's post-game discussions. We had all stayed behind for Yoongi, planning to go out for a meal once he was done.
