Taehyung's P.O.V.:

As Yumi's loud voice echoed through the park, I couldn't help but turn my head in surprise.   "Oh my god! Get your girl Taehyungie!" she enthusiastically proclaimed sending a wave of attention our way. I saw Jungkook, who was giggling and shaking his head at his girlfriend's antics, and he quickly apologized, "Sorry!" he yelled before grabbing Yumi and dragging her back in the direction of the car.

I let out a chuckle, turning my attention back to Y/n, who was currently hiding her face in the folds of my hoodie, clearly embarrassed by the public display. "Y/n," I said softly, my hand gently stroking her hair, "Yumi is gone now. You don't have to keep hiding." She clung to me more tightly, shaking her head vehemently. "No, it's too embarrassing! I bet everyone here is looking at us," she whispered. Glancing around, I noticed that indeed, the curious glances of bystanders were fixed on us.

"Don't be embarrassed, at least we're not as bad as Jungkook and Yumi," I reassured her. My attempt at humor made her break into a small fit of giggles before finally revealing her beautiful face.

All of this still felt surreal, like a dream I feared I might wake up from at any moment. I kissed her. Y/n and I kissed, and she didn't pull away; in fact, she kissed me back. Her declaration of happiness had left me ecstatic. Thoughts of a potential relationship with her filled my mind, though I was well aware of the complexities involved, considering her ongoing marriage to Jimin. But change was already on the horizon.

I tried to temper my excitement, not allowing my hopes to soar too high. After all, I'd had similar hopes several times before, only to be disappointed. However, this time felt different. We hadn't ever been this close, and I was certain she wouldn't return to Jimin anytime soon.

I smiled down at her, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I guess we should go meet back up with Jungkook and Yumi," I suggested. She pouted playfully, "But they'll just say more embarrassing things." My laughter filled the air as I admired her cute expression, "Adorable." She looked up at me with confusion, "Huh?" "You're adorable," I reiterated. Her face flushed a deep shade of red, and she looked down at our intertwined hands. "Tae! You can't say things like that!" "And why not?" I asked, gently lifting her chin. "It's true, you know." She replied with one of her radiant smiles, "Well, you're pretty adorable yourself."

Now it was my turn to blush, but unlike her, I didn't hide my face. Instead, I leaned in and stole one last kiss from her lips. "Now, let's go," I said, pulling her up from the bench where we had been sitting.

We took our time walking back down the path toward the car. Our silence was comfortable, punctuated only by the occasional stolen glance. I couldn't help but smile each time I caught her looking over at me. Our eyes met, locking briefly before she blushed and looked away.

We didn't encounter Jungkook or Yumi on the path until we arrived back at the car. The two of them smiled at us when they noticed our return. Yumi's enthusiasm was palpable as she ran up to Y/n, engulfing her in a tight hug. Jungkook, on the other hand, approached me with a teasing grin, slinging his arm over my shoulder.

"So, when did this happen?" Jungkook asked, his eyes darting back and forth between me and his sister. I let out a nervous laugh and awkwardly scratched the nape of my neck, "Umm, just now, actually," I admitted.  Jungkook's smile broadened as he leaned in closer. "So, you're going to tell me about what happened, right?" His inquisitive gaze bore into me. I nod quickly, "Yeah, but later," I say as I look over at Yumi, fully aware she'd have plenty to say.

Jungkook smiled and reassured me, "Alright." He leaned in closer, his voice a quiet whisper, "And Tae, I know you'll take care of her. I trust you." With that, he rushed back to Yumi, peeling her away from Y/n, who seemed a bit overwhelmed. I shifted my focus back to Y/n, her presence calming me.
