Taehyung's P.O.V.:

As Jungkook and I drove to the restaurant, the atmosphere in the car was thick with unspoken tension. Both of us were attempting to gather our thoughts, preparing ourselves mentally for the looming confrontation.

Upon our arrival, the other guys were already seated, their welcoming gestures momentarily easing my anger. "Hey guys," Namjoon greeted, waving from across the room, and I managed a faint smile. It had been too long since we spent time together, but the circumstances weren't exactly conducive for a casual catch-up. "Hi Taehyung, hi Jungkook, we're glad you guys could make it," Jin chimed in, exuding warmth as we took our seats beside them. "So how are you guys?" Namjoon inquired. Jungkook's smile dripped with sarcasm, "Just peachy!" The boys looked at him, puzzled. "Did something happen at work?" Jin probed. Jungkook seemed ready to unleash his irritation, but I shot him a warning glare.

"You guys wanted to talk to us about something, right?" I steered the discussion, referring to our phone call. Both of them nodded. "We do have things to discuss, but we thought catching up might be nice," Namjoon suggested, his smile hopeful. Jungkook, however, dismissed the notion. "Maybe another time. Right now, we need you guys to listen." "Jungkook!" I interjected, attempting to maintain a sense of order. But Jungkook was resolute. "No, Taehyung! They need to hear this!" His voice surged in volume, drawing attention from nearby patrons.

"What were you guys Fucking thinking yesterday?!" Jungkook yells his suppressed anger erupting. The room fell silent, the weight of his words hanging in the air. "What are you talking about?" Namjoon asked, confusion etched on his face, glancing between us and Jin, who shrugged. "Do you guys want Y/n to get hurt again? Or did you decide that you wanted to help Jimin play more mind games?" Jungkook asks leaning forward and glaring down at them. Their facial expressions flash in understanding "Are you talking about us telling Y/n about Jimin's feelings for her?" "Of course I am! What gave you the right to spill all of that?!" Jungkook's voice sliced through the tension, his eyes narrowed in accusation. Jin's frustration emerged, mirroring Jungkook's intensity. "Well, it's not like you guys are doing anything to help the current situation! You guys were never going to tell her, and she needed to know! We were just trying to help!" Jin's voice raised, slamming his fist against the table.

"And you thought that would help?!" Jungkook retorted sharply. "You just want her to go back to him, but who will that help? Everything will end up the same way it always does!" The room crackled with tension, emotions spilling over. "You just want her to be with him! You always have!"He yelled "And Taehyung, you're no better than him! You always wanted to be with her, and now you're taking advantage of her situation with Jimin to steal someone else's wife!" Jin pointed at me, accusingly.

My patience wore thin, boiling over with frustration. I couldn't stand the barrage of assumptions, the misconceptions about my intentions. "OKAY, ENOUGH!" My voice boomed, silencing everyone in the room. "Go outside and cool off; you're not helping the situation." "But Taehyung!" Jungkook resists "Go now," I say pointing to the door my voice dangerously low. He huffed but obeyed, leaving the room. I redirected my attention to the other two, my expression serious and my voice resolute. "I am going to speak, and you're going to listen without throwing ridiculous accusations."

They nodded in silence, and I continued, striving to maintain composure. "While most of what you've said is wrong, it is true that I love Y/n. I care for her deeply, more than anyone, but I'm not trying to separate her from Jimin just to have her for myself. I want her happiness, whether it's with me or someone else. Jimin has made her miserable, and he wasted every opportunity. This is on him," I stated firmly. Namjoon chuckled dismissively. "So that's it? You're completely innocent in all of this? You haven't done anything with Y/n? I don't believe that for a second." I clenched my teeth, avoiding his gaze. "That's what I thought," he retorted. I glared at him, frustration bubbling to the surface. "And what about you guys? You've been gone for years! You didn't know what's been happening, and now suddenly you think you have the right to meddle in the situation! I was there on their wedding day when Jimin abandoned her, leaving her in tears after the reception. I was there when he disappeared for weeks, ignoring her calls. I witnessed every time he told her to leave the house and every instance of verbal abuse he hurled at her for two years. You weren't there when she turned to Jungkook and me, heartbroken because her best friend, her husband, wanted nothing to do with her. I was there for everything, picking up the shattered pieces. Jungkook and I were the ones who stood by her! So don't lecture me about something you know nothing about!"
