"Star, stop it," Tom growled as he placed out the cups.
Star swung along the ceiling, putting up the lights as she rolled her eyes. "But why?! What's the problem? This whole thing is a party, perfect time to talk to them." Star rushed by Tom, filling up the table with treats before she jumped into her shoes, doing them up. "Alright, Tom. What do you think? Is it too much?"
"It's fine, Star. You've done a good job, so relax and stop bringing up my love life."
Star sighed, rolling her eyes. "Fine, but if you don't address this, you'll be alone forever."
"Says you."
"Yeah, says me. I'm an expert love matcher."
"Star, telling me one of your previous relationships that have actually worked."
Shushing Tom, Star walked to the table, neatening up the cups. "That is not what we're talking about here."
"Well, I think Star is right, Tom." Sipping at Star's drink, Rich pigeon stepped into view, making Tom scream.
"How long have you been there?"
"For a while. Enough to know Star is right."
"You don't even know what is going on." Tom sighed as Star pushed him aside.
"Oh, Rich, it is cool of you to pay for this party. I cannot believe you found this place."
"No problem, Star." Rich was hard to understand between the constant sips he took of his drink.
Swirling behind them, the portal opened as Marco, Solar and Moc walked in. They had gotten dressed up for the event.
Solar was in a blue suit which almost looked like it came from Earth, but it was clear it wasn't from there. The fabric was off, and the shoulders were broader than human clothes causing it to fall off his shoulders. He had a strange golden crown made of woven branches solidified in the metal. His hair was pulled back in its usual ponytail, but there was a peculiar braid on one side, the hair melded with the gold ribbon.
Moc was in a beautiful green jewel-encrusted dress that was slim and showed off her fur. Like Solar, she had a strange head crest. Hers was black, looking like a strangely coloured tiara made to look like waves of the sea.
Lastly, Marco walked in a white outfit that looked a little like his old suit. However, there were no shoulder poofs, and a flame pattern sat at the base of his jacket. He had a red cape around his shoulders, matching the flames. Just like the others, he had a crown-like head crest. His was silver and looked like a raging fire.
"Woah..." Tom stared, his eyes wide as Moc chuckled.
"Heh, hey, boys! Looks like you've got an audience," they pointed out, giggling to themself as the boys turned, meeting Tom's gaze.
"Oh, hey, Tom." Marco grinned as he stepped forward, Solar following him.
"Hi..." Tom took in a deep breath, forcing out his words. "You guys look amazing!"
"Really?" Solar blushed, playing with his jacket. "I always think it's a bit too much."
"No, no... you look... well, breathtaking."
Marco grinned, wrapping an arm around Solar's shoulders. "Of course he does! Anyone would be crazy to think any less." Marco laughed as Solar fell in on himself. "Don't be embarrassed. You always look amazing."
Solar grew more embarrassed as Marco laughed, letting him go.
"Where's Tom?" Marco glanced around, but Tom was gone.
