Star sighed as she sat in her bed.
Janna hesitated before she walked in, climbing on. "Hey, you doing okay?"
"I'm fine."
Janna frowned, looking back at the door where Moc was standing, waving for her to continue. "Star, it's okay. I know things are bad, but we will find your mom, and we will do everything in our power to help you." Janna took Star's hands as she looked up, wiping at her eyes.
"How? How will everything be okay?"
Janna pulled Star into a hug. "It will be because we will be here to help you."
Moc gave Janna a thumbs-up before they snuck off. The monsters were moving into their new kingdom. They would find Queen Moon, and they would make the place better. Moc jumped up, climbing the castle and sitting atop the roof. It was a good day to be alive.
Below the castle and the earth, Tom walked along his corridors, a sad look on his face. He petted Marshmallow and tried to keep his mind off the boys he wanted to go after. He laid down on his bed as he sighed, covering his eyes.
He wanted to be happy for them; he really, really did.

"Marco, Marco," the voice sang as Marco snapped his eyes open.
"Oh shit," Marco screamed as he stared at the alicorn, grinning at him.
"Guess what?! You died in your sleep again! You know what that means? Your magic is failing. You're going to join me permanently soon."
