Marco hummed as he walked around the kitchen, swirling the batter around the bowl. Solar yawned as he walked out, smiling as he walked closer to Marco and wrapped his arms around him. "Is this okay?"
Marco snorted, running his hand through Solar's hair. "Of course it is. Morning, Sunshine." Solar blinked, groaning as he buried himself in Marco's shirt. "Are you okay? Do you not like it?"
"You're too cute." Solar lifted his head as he placed his chin on Marco's shoulder.
Marco smiled as he flipped the pancake, simmering it off his pan and putting the pancake on the stack. Marco picked up the whipped cream, decorating Solar's pancakes just how he liked them.
Solar reluctantly let go, taking a seat as Marco gave him the food. "Eat up, Sunshine." Solar blushed again, quickly cutting up his food and eating it to distract himself. Marco started to sing as Solar watched him, a goofy grin on his face.
"You haven't sung in a while?"
"I haven't had a reason to sing. Now I do."
Solar blushed again, burying his face in his hand. "You're going to be like this from now on, aren't you?"
"Be like what?" Marco tilted his head innocently. "Showering my boyfriend with love? Of fucking course. You're too sweet to not adore."
Solar screamed internally as he stammered, much to Marco's amusement.
"You chose me too. Now you got to deal with me!" Marco grinned, sitting opposite Solar as he chuckled.
"It'll be worth it." Solar reached out, taking Marco's hand and placing a kiss on the back of it. Solar chuckled as Marco blushed. "Look at that. We get flustered over different things." Solar rubbed the back of Marco's hand as Marco shook himself out of his stupor.
"That so? So you wouldn't get flustered if I kissed you right now."
Solar blinked, fidgeting slightly. "There's only one way to find out." Solar leaned closer as Marco did the same.
Crash!
They froze as Star kicked open the door, wincing as she looked at them. "Oh, was this a bad time?"
Solar blushed, shooting away. "Nope! It's fine. Is there something you need?"
Star paused, hesitating as she spoke. "My mum was attacked trying to stop Meteora."
~~~
Star hummed as she wrote down her notes. "Okay, and how exactly big was this portal?"
Eclipsa stammered, moving her hands around her. "It was huge. I mean, massive."
"Ginormous portal... And you say it was rainbow-coloured?"
"Yes, all kinds of swirling colours. She went to it like a moth to a flame."
Star nodded. "Ah, right, I know that one."
"I'm so sorry. Moon would have stopped her if I hadn't interfered. Now Meteora's heading this way."
Star clicked her pen as she stood up. "Okay, well, that about covers it. Guards!" The guards ran in, picking Star up as she sighed. "Not me. Her."
The guards rushed to Eclipsa, chaining her to a giant weight. "Star, what are you going to do? What are you going to do to my daughter?"
Star grumbled as she walked out of the interrogation room. Moc and Janna waited for her outside. Moc fidgeted nervously. "Hey, you doing okay?"
"Of course, she's okay. She's Queen," Janna grinned as Star sighed.
