"Hey, I have an Immortal situation, I have to go," Duncan said and headed out the door. I looked at him and looked at Richie and Tessa.
"Did you see that, he didn't even ask if I wanted to help." Tessa laughed a little bit and sat next to me. I sighed and she looked at me.
"Yes, he does everything on his own."
"HEY, I helped the last time."
"That you did, Richie." I laughed a little and he stood up and put his hands on his hips.
"How about we go out?" I looked at him and then at Tessa.
"I don't know, Richie, what if an immortal comes for me?" I looked at them and Tessa hit me on the leg, playfully.
"Well then you will just have to kill them," Tessa said and grabbed her jacket. I sighed and nodded, Richie pulling me off the couch. I grabbed my jacket and we took a walk down the street when I saw a gang in the alley.
"HEY, are you supposed to do that?" They looked at me and I put my hands on my hips. They looked at each other and then a man on the ground who was covered in blood. I sighed and handed Richie my sword so it wouldn't fall out of my coat. He held it there and stared at the sword, wondering why the Hell I handed it to him, and I wondered the same thing. I put my fists up and Tessa put her hand on my shoulder.
"What, I'm not going to kill them." She sighed and pulled Richie away from the crossfire. They laughed and went back to kicking the man, so I got annoyed and I walked up to the biggest one and tapped on his shoulder. He swung around and aimed for my face, but I dodged it and kicked him straight in the man's area. He fell to the ground and everyone finally began to pay attention to me, which I enjoyed. I fought them all off using what Duncan had taught me and Richie helped the guy up and get away from the fighting.
"You are... an Angel," he said and passed out. I drove him to the Hospital and met back up with the others.
"That was weird," Richie said and sat back down on the couch.
"Yeah, I was expecting an immortal, not a gang in an alley not far from the shop." I sighed and looked at my hand, not realizing one of them cut me with a knife.
"How bad is it?" Richie asked and pulled my hand to see nothing.
"It must not have been bad, it is already healed," Tessa said and handed me a napkin. I sighed and wiped it all off and for some reason I was angry.
"What's the matter?"
"I am going to go find Duncan, I will be back with him." Tessa and Richie got up almost at the same time and looked at each other before looking back at me.
"I don't think you should go, Duncan didn't ask for help, maybe he doesn't need it. No offense." I picked up my sword and looked back at them.
"It is safer if I am not around you guys for now, the immortals won't come looking for me here and even if they do, there are weapons scattered all around here." They looked at each other and I ran out the door and to my car. I looked at the latest news and heard the car door open and Richie filed in. I looked at him with such an annoying look and he smiled and I tried to hide it but it made me smile and I shook my head and started the car. I felt Duncan after some time and surprised him with food.
"What are you doing here? I didn't tell you to-"
"I wanted to, I swear I won't do anything rash. I just had to beat up a gang in the alley next to the shop. I have had enough fighting for now."
"Why?"
"They were beating up a man, I had to save him Duncan, I couldn't just let him stay there and get beaten to death. I didn't kill anyone, I just-" I saw Richie pear out from behind a wall and I looked at Duncan.
