Chapter 13

I looked out the window to see Richie trying to park a normal car. I laughed as he walked in and he smirked and looked back. I was in a short black dress with no straps and was very cold. I grabbed my arms and Richie looked at me.

"Need a jacket?" I laughed a little and he put it around me.

"I hate the cold... but I can get a few things done in a dress." Tessa and Duncan walked over in each others arms and I couldn't help but say 'aww'.

"If it isn't the third and fourth wheel." Me and Richie looked at each other and back at Duncan who was smiling.

"Who is the third wheel?"

"Who is the fourth wheel?" We asked at the same time and I looked at him again and he looked at me. Tessa and Duncan began to laugh and that made me look at them with confusion.

"I think I am fourth," I said and looked at Richie, who was already staring at me.

"Yeah, you're probably right." I laughed a little and hit Richie's shoulder and walked over to the drinks and chugged a glass of wine, which was cheap and disgusting. Duncan walked over and took a glass too.

"How is life right now, Duncan?" I asked and turned my full attention to him. He looked at me with genuine happiness and looked back at Tessa and Richie and smiled.

"Great, probably the best my life has been in a long time." I smiled and linked arms with him. I looked at some of the artwork and then at the big sign which said Tessa Noel. I smiled and chugged more wine.

"Tessa is great, Duncan, you have never been with a better woman besides me, of course." He laughed and put his arm around my neck.

"No, maybe not, but I am happy." I kissed his cheek and he looked down at me.

"What?"

"I like to see you happy, Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod." He laughed a little and Tessa came over and crossed her arms.

"You better now be trying to steal my man." We both laughed and I hugged her and she hugged me back. I felt Gavin and Duncan looked down at me. I nodded and Gavin walked in with a black on black suit, which I had never seen him look more handsome. He walked over and kissed me on the forehead and I smiled as he put his arm around my waist and Richie walked over.

"Sorry I am late, congratulations Tessa." He kissed her on the cheek and looked at Richie who smiled.

"Gavin, I need dating advice." He laughed and put his hand on Richie's shoulder, handing me a letter. On the front it said to me and on the back it said Connor. I looked at him but he was already walking away with Richie. I put up my finger and ripped it open.

I have a very important mission for you,

I know how important it is for you to kill Beatrice, so I have something for you,

She is currently in California with me and is looking for us both,

I hope you can come,

I looked back at the other two and they walked over and Duncan took the note.

"Beatrice, I thought you killed her?"

"Well... I kind of lied, but I have a flight to catch." He nodded and I looked at Tessa and she nodded too. I walked over to Richie and Gavin who turned around.
