---------------------------------
It's now Sunday afternoon and I'm currently sprawled out all over my bed, trying to find something to occupy myself with...
Yawn.
After I had found the phone, I instantly rushed to the base to I give it to Julian, I knew he would be proud. And he was. He was so surprised that I found something, he actually said I could carry on my mission which I was pleased about.
I know at the beginning I hated the thought of being at school but now, I feel like I fit in there.
I had spent most of this weekend desperately trying to figure out who that person was Stefan knocked into, I was almost certain it was his phone. I mean, what a coincidence, he gets knocked over just as I was getting a bit agitated over not finding anything out.
The sharp ring of my mobile brought me out of my whirling thoughts. I didn't bother to look at the caller ID as whoever it was, they were saving me from intense boredom.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.
"Hey deary, it's me, Amanda." Said a frail voice from the other side of the call. This caused me to sit up and and listen intently.
Amanda was a hospital worker. Usually every Wednesday I would call off work and go and volunteer at the local hospital. It made me feel great that I was helping out. Most of the time I volunteered at the children's ward, cheering them up after an intense operation. I instantly remembered that the other day I called Amanda asking if I could switch the day I visit as I was beginning to become behind on homework only she never answered the phone.
"Oh hello Amanda, I guess you got my voicemail?" I asked hopefully. I didn't want to go into a lot of explaining all over again as to why I wanted to change days.
"I did, and I was just calling to ask you if maybe Monday after school is ok for you?"
I mentally picked out the days we get the most homework and Monday didn't seem like one of them. I guess Monday would be ok.
"Yeah that should be fine" I said nodding my head but then realising that she couldn't see me.
"Ah that's wonderful. Well I have a patient waiting, I will see you tomorrow Maria, Goodbye"
I pleasantly said my goodbyes before hanging up again.
"Back to square one" I muttered to myself after I found my self bored once again.
I fell back down on my bed as my thoughts replayed from earlier.
--------------------------------------------
It was now Monday and the bell for the end of school had just rung.
The day had gone quick as I spent most of the day goofing around with George, Amy and Kim.
I packed my things up hastily and practically ran out of the school doors and towards my car. I didn't bother going home to drop my things off, I went straight there. I was excited to see everyone again!
