"Oh my gosh this one is perfect!"
So here I was a few hours later, watching Amy throw bundles of clothes out of her enormous wardrobe whilst I was lounging on her bed reading the latest vogue issue. I swear that girl has so many clothes.
"Hmm" I replied, turning the page. I didn't even bother looking at what she was showing me, it has been the same thing for the past hour.
"C'mon Maria, you're not even looking, this is supposed to be some girl time!" Amy huffed.
I could only just make out what she was saying which caused me to look up from the magazine and straight in front of me. And there she was piled in all sorts of different clothes and accessories. Seriously, I could only just see the bright red headband perched on top of her head. I honestly couldn't help but burst out laughing.
As I was giggling away, Amy's phone started blaring out some really, really bad rap song, this of course made me laugh harder.
"Whh-a what is t-tthat" I gasped out, one hand clutching my stomach and the other wiping away the random tears that flowed out.
"Oh hush, I like it." She retorted. I'm guessing she pressed the answer button as I could just make out tiny little voices coming from near her.
"Hey Kimmy... yeah...indeed Maria is here...okay...sure...see you in ten!"
"Kim's on her way?" I asked?
"Yes! I can't wait! Party time!" She squealed and pushed herself up from the floor, causing the mountain of clothes to topple over.
"Woope" I muttered under my breath.
"Ok while we wait, let's pick your outfit!" She started to clap her hands and bounce on the balls of her feet, seriously why does she get so excited over the weirdest things?
"Fine" I said and got up from the bed I was sitting comfortably on. I grumbled to myself as I walked towards her walk in closet.
I literally pile up the first thing in my reach ad threw it at Amy. Honestly, I didn't mind what I wore to the party, I wasn't trying to impress anyone.
"Ooo Maria that's such an amazing choice! Why did I not think of this?" Amy jumped up and down waving the clothing in her hands.
I took a step towards her and stretched my arm towards the outfit in her grasp. Oh god, why me. It was a short midnight blue dress, it looked a little tight and would probably end up showing too much skin. It was strapless and had a small brass zipper that did up at the back. The one and only thing I thought while looking at it? why me?
"I erm, picked the wrong one" I managed to say.
"No way are you changing, this is the perfect dress for you!" From previous experience I realised you cannot argue with her when she has her mind set on something.
"Oh fine" I replied, knowing that there was absolutely no easy way to defy her.
Just as Amy placed my outfit on her crinkled bed, Kim burst through the door.
"Kim, here at your service" she announced with a bow. I really don't know where I found these weird people.
"HEY" Any screeched out and ran to Kim with her arms outstretched prepared for a bone crushing hug.
"Hey Ames" Kim said. She was currently squished into Amy. "Ooh and hello Maria" she smiled wide at me over Amy's shoulder.
"Hii, so shall we get ready then?" I asked. I spoke this question more to Amy so she would let go of the hug she had Kim in.
