It had been a full week since me and Stefan had met in Bella's ward, and since then we have not even spoken. Not one word. I mean, sure we passed each other in the halls but even then all I got was a little nod of acknowledgement.

However I wasn't sure why I wanted him to talk or even to see me in the first place. We were barley friends. I could count on my fingers how many times we had spoken and even then I still wasn't very fond of his cocky personality. I can't believe I am actually saying this but I guess a small, tiny weeny part of me want's to be his friend. For example at the hospital he was so nice! If he was like that all the time then I would have no problem in getting along with him.

"So you are coming for a sleepover this weekend, right Maria?" Kim asked almost pleadingly, snapping me out of my wondering thoughts.

We were walking down the hall on the way towards our next lesson, Science. Whoop de doo.

I knew the reason Kim wanted so desperately for me to go is because there would be four of us - Me, Kim, Amy and of course, George. Now as much as Kim loved Amy I knew she had a low tolerance for her. Heck, even I did.

I decided to tease Kim a little bit and have some fun.

"I can't, I'm sorry" I said feigning sadness. This is where my acting skills come in handy!

Kim's head snapped towards me so fast I actually thought it was going to fall off.

"WHAT?! you said yesterday you could! Since when did you become busy in a space of one day!" She said this so loud that some people gave us massive glares as we walked past.

I looked at Kim, seeing that her cheeks were tinted with red from the embarrassment of shouting so loud. I had never seen Kim like that before. She was always so.... quiet.

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh at her discomfort.

In return she shot me a glare, speeding up her pace so she could be in front of me as she walked.

"Kimmy wait!" I called in amusement from behind her, trying to get her to slow down her pace. As much as I am skilled in the running department I think it would be quite hard to catch up with her when she's this angry.

By the time I actually caught up with her, we were already outside the classroom doors. Damn she walks fast.

"Ki-" I panted as I held onto the framing of the door. Who knew I would be this tired after chasing after someone. "It wa-s....a....joke" I finally managed to spew the words out after catching my breath a little.

Kim's face instantly brightened and she gave me a full blown grin. "Why didn't you say that when I was walking away then? She asked out of pure curiosity.

I gave her a dead panned look as she continued to look to me. She seriously thought I didn't try?

Instead of waiting for her reply I entered the cluttered classroom where everyone was either chatting animatedly or running wild. Obviously the teacher had yet to turn up.

I decided on a double table at the back of the class, that way me and Amy could talk and not be seen as well.

"So what do I bring to the sleepover?" I asked Kim, sneaking a look at the teacher to see if he caught me talking. He had arrived late with the class full of chaos so I doubt people talking would decrease his anger with us.
