the boys walk me out of the hut. tuk wants to go with us, jake stops her. telling her we're gonna have to be alone, to help me better.
she whines but kiri helps out with her.
i want to be like kiri.
neytiri tells the boys was we need. i help kiri clean up, as neteyam smirks at me. i blush once again, taking the plates away.
we walk out after saying our goodbyes.
they're in front of me as we walk towards the water.
"so you have to breath in this weird way, lo'ak will teach you how to do a lot of things." he pushes lo'ak.
i don't get the joke, is it that he's helpful?
we step into the water, the water is warm. comforting. like a hug from the universe all at once. i'm standing in the middle of them. suddenly we start walking deeper. the feeling of the wet sand on my feet is so unknown, but i like it. once the water gets to our waist, i get a little scared. grabbing lo'ak instinctively.
ahem.
what are you trying to tell me with that?
i'm lost in thought, i can hear the angels in my heart but i don't get it. turning to my right, neteyam snakes his arm around my waist.

"no it's okay, we're not even with the scary stuff." he laughs.
we continue to walk.

i'm frozen in fear. i begin to yelp, my sharp cries. lo'ak comes in front of me, picking me up so my legs wrap around his waist.
the feeling is now not so intense.
"her wing marks. we should've known." neteyam informs lo'ak.
i feel a sigh of relief from him.
wrapping my arms around his neck, my nose brushing against his warm neck.
hiding my face in this place. between his neck and shoulder, i feel safe.

his hands are holding me firmly, underneath my thighs. i hear jakes panicked voice. but i can't make out the words. all i know is i feel something, it must just be the pain.
really?

the angel are speaking to me in one word sentences and it's frustrating me to cry even more to lo'ak. i feel more mature, bigger, rougher hands grab my waist. pulling me from lo'ak.
jake turns me towards him.
"it's okay, it's okay." he coos into my ear.
neytiri jumps into the water. immediately scanning my scars.

"let's try again later on." she says.
