Jackson's POV

I woke up today to get ready for a different lesson with Sensei Watanabe and the rest of the rangers. However, I woke up with a bad feeling that something is going to happen which could change the team dynamics and not for the better. Just one of those feelings that my dad has said he has gotten as a ranger sometimes and he was usually right. I just have to be ready for anything today.

Time Skip

I arrived to Ninja Ops pretty early and see that Cam is setting up brings to break to show that the mind also plays a factor in order to break the brick. It is something that I did at the Fire Ninja Academy and did not have any issues with it while Rach had a few issues to start with it.

"Hey Jacks, just finishing setting this up for my father, can you help me grab a couple more bricks before everyone else shows up?" Cam asks me once he noticed my appearance. So I go and we chat about this lesson with how Rach and I have already done this lesson back at the Fire Ninja Academy along with some ideas of how people will try to break it and if they will or not.

Slowly everyone enters and the lesson began and look to see the Wind Rangers first and all three of them just hurt there hands trying to break the brick. The Thunder Rangers had an interesting method that tried to kick down on the brick or using their head.

"Really giving a meaning to using your head there Blake." I joked at him while Tori was trying to help him. Blake just shot me an annoyed look while the others except for Sensei were trying to contain their laughter and it might be that Sensei is smiling but it is hard to tell.

"The mind can do many things while not just providing ideas. It could help improve strength, make you ignore injuries that are not serious, and bring about an inner peace to yourself." Sensei was explaining after the others were complaining about it not being possible. All of a sudden with our attention away from the brick we hear Cam scream and the brick breaking from his strike. Sensei looked proud while Rach and I clap for him, the others just stood with their mouths dropped to the floor. They regained their composure but started asking questions to see if it was a trick brick. Rach and I tried to butt in but they wouldn't listen to us so Rach put a brick up for me to break. I kept silent and went to strike and the brick broke, what shocked Rach and I more was that my hand was on fire and not burning me. The others except for Cam and Sensei just had a look of shock with the brick broken that they didn't notice my hand on fire.

"Well this is new." I commented and Tori sees my hand on fire and uses her water powers to put my hand out. She overdid it so I got soaked and everyone laughed at my predicament. "Thank you Tori." I said sarcastically.

"Wait why is your hand fine?" Tori exclaimed with confusion and the others looked confused except for Sensei who looked more in thought.

"It might be that in the same state to break the brick, Jackson could control more of his mysterious fire powers that do not appear to be the way of the ninja." Sensei explained.

The topic was then dropped with the alarms going off and the next alien appeared. "You guys ready?" Shane asked us and we all morphed, then left ops to take on the alien.

Time Skip to Location

We arrived and the alien noticed us and summon some Kelzaks so we are summoned our schools weapons and worked on cutting down the Kelzaks. We cleared out the Kelzaks and lined up to take on this alien.

"Now just wait one moment for me." the alien said, which confused us and he pulls this sphere out of nowhere and opens it up and that bad feeling started coming true. This sphere was draining our ranger powers, what worse for me is that it was taking my fire powers as well. On the bright side, I still had my dino morpher for some reason. After taking all of our powers the alien prepares to leave with everyone on the ground while I am on a knee. I stand up and decide to break out a special weapon.
