(This video is here for no reason and I've listened to this full OST way too many times...)

Hey guys! I just want to say that you should reread this fic since I've just gone through all my chapters and edited some stuff. You don't have to, but maybe some stuff will make a little more sense later on.

Agent 4's POV

This is strange.

I feel strange. Since she got her memory back, Ahato's been acting a lot more confident. And I guess...everyone's been looking at her as more of a leader now.

But now we don't have her. Three doesn't seem to like being Captain, either. I guess she just wasn't ready for the responsibility, but she had already made her decision. She was hiding in her oversized hoodie, being all introverted and edgy as usual. But I could tell something was up. Maybe she didn't like that the others were acting like I was their Captain.

I got a little closer. "Three? Are you okay? You can tell me if somethin's up,"

"Um...could you maybe...ask Eight if she's okay? I just can't stop worrying. She, uh, seems...a little bit sad,"

"Okay!" I said. "Aye-aye, Captain!" I went over to Eight.

"Eight? Is everything okay?" I asked. She looked at me and smiled. "No," she said. "Are you sure?" I asked. "'M Fine!" she said.

"That doesn't sound like someone who's really okay,"

"..."

"I remember more."

"What?!" I said, whisper-yelling. "You're remembering more?!"

"Yeah."

"What did you remember? Your name? Your life? Your home?"

"Not much. Just little bits."

"Oh," I said, a bit disappointed. "Hey, your Inklish is better!"

"Oh...I guess I remembered more...um, I guess I've been holding back a little,"

"Wait, how long have it been?"

"Just a few days. But...please don't tell the others. I don't want them to know yet."

"Good luck hiding that from Three, she was the one who noticed your slight change in personality," I said. Eight's face turned light pink. "W-wait, she was watching-? She's worried about me?!" I laughed. "Oooh, careful! With how observant she is, she might just notice that your face is turning the same color as your ink tank!" Eight giggled nervously.

I went back over to Three. "Oh, she seems happier now. Thanks a lot, Four," she said. "What did you, um, say to her?" She tried to act like he hadn't seen or heard anything, but from her obvious embarrassment and red face, I could tell that she had been paying attention to the last part of our conversation...

Dedf1sh's POV

i stared ahead

like

a zombie

not a sanitized zombie

a different kind

...but zombie stories are supposed to have happy endings

right?

and when you see things

from where i am

all these unorganized bits

of thoughts

it becomes clear

that this story

will

not

have

a happy

ending.

i run

i scream

for help

i get pulled farther into the ground

and i cant breathe

who

am

i?

IT NEVER MATTERED. IT DOES NOT MATTER, ANOMALY #127.

DJ Octavio's POV

Ugh. This MASSIVE, BLARING HEADACHE will NOT GO AWAY! God, how did I even get into this situation?

Oh yeah. Pulled into a random giant underground dome full of non-Octarian Kettles!

Damn it. WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?! I GET CAPTURED. I GET BEATEN UP. All because I want my people to be happy! That's a huge upgrade from that old Telephone and sea cucumber who murder people for fun! I shoulda never made any deals, any agreements. With anyone. I have too many regrets now...

AUGH!

I climbed out of the broken Octobot King |||. It didn't look too damaged, and it would probably be pretty easy for me to repair with all this metal and junk just lyin' around. Someone really oughta clean up around here. That's when I saw her.

What was Ahato doing here? Oh yeah, I guess she was there when the ground collapsed, too. "HEY! AHATO! OVER HERE!"

But she didn't respond. Maybe she didn't hear me. "AHATO?"

No response?! Dang, she must still be mad at me. Or maybe she still couldn't hear me.

"MIZUTA AHATO?! DEDF1SH?! #27?!" Still no response?! She had to be ignoring me! I switched to my Octoling form and ran to her. When I finally caught up to her, though, I noticed something was wrong. She looked kind of...lifeless. "Ahato?"

"I'm sorry, Ahato. I shouldn't have sent those Elites after Marissa,"

But even though his words echoed through whole dome, no one heard them.

Suddenly, the lifeless body swung a Splatana at the DJ's head.
