Charlize P.O.V.
As I sat there listening to Lexie tell me a little about herself, I found myself taking in her features. Blue eyes, light brown or dark blonde hair, she has dimples and beautiful lips. God, she is gorgeous. Beautifully imperfect. Which somehow makes her perfect. Dammit, Charlize, get a hold of yourself. She is probably straight.
"So after I got the role, I uprooted my life and moved here." She said.
"Where do you live now?" I asked her.
"I live about an hour away. It's a one-bedroom apartment. It is small and very unpleasant, but it's clean."
"It's an hour away? How are you going to manage that?"
"Well, on nights that I film late or mornings that I have an early call time or both. My trailer is accommodating for me to stay here. I even have most of my clothes and stuff either here or in my car. There is not much room for it at my apartment."
"Well, if you ever need a place to crash or something, you're welcome to stay with me anytime. It's just my daughters and me."
"It's fine. You don't have to offer that." She said. Her eyes shifted to her lap, and she gave a nervous chuckle.
"I want to. I mean, we are becoming friends. So consider it an open invitation from a friend. Seriously, anytime you want to stay, you can. Even if you are having a hard time and need a friend to cry to or talk to." I tell her.
Damn, Charlize! Say friend again! Even though she probably isn't interested in you, you are practically locking her in the friend zone. If she is interested, then she would never tell you now. You are such a dumbass!
"Thank you, Charlize! I appreciate that. It's good to know I have friends!" Lexie smiles.
"Yeah, of course. Kerry is pretty great too. I'm sure she would make a great friend. Speaking of, I have to film a scene with her. I will see you later." I say as I stand. I hug her and have to tell myself to pull away after a few seconds.
"Bye, Charlize." She said as I walked out.
I went to Kerry, and she smirked.
"Looks like someone has a crush on the new girl." She whispered.
"Crush is an understatement! Call me crazy, but I have been falling in love with her since she opened the door." I whispered back.
"Charlize Theron, falling in love! I have seen it all."
"Kerry, what do I do? These feelings somehow grew stronger the more I talked to her. Right now, she is all I can think about! I honestly never thought I would meet someone that made me feel like this! What am I supposed to do? She is most likely straight, and I practically put her in the friend zone and locked the door."
"Well, that's your own fault. According to the pictures in her trailer, she has a boyfriend. The buzzing from her phone was him texting her about dinner. So he lives nearby."
"She didn't say anything about a boyfriend. I didn't want to ask. I didn't know how." I whispered.
"Well, something tells me we will hear all about him soon." She whispered back.
"What does that mean?" I ask.
"You'll see."
