Charlize's POV

Lexie held her newborn daughter and I couldn't help but smile.

"You did it, Lex," I said softly.

"She's perfect!" Lexie said.

"What are you going to name her?"

"Elizabeth. Elizabeth Lorraine Mills."

"That's a beautiful name," I say. Lexie looked at me and smiled.

"I am the luckiest woman in the world. I have a beautiful girlfriend, her daughters, and now my own baby girl."

"I am so proud of you. You know Jackson and August are going to be so excited to meet her."

"Do you want to hold her?"

"I would love to," I said, nodding.

"Take off your sweatshirt and keep your tank top on. It is the closest thing to skin-to-skin contact." I did so and carefully lifted Elizabeth from Lexie's arms and held her.

"Hi, Lizzie." I cooed.

"Lizzie?"

"Yeah. I couldn't think of another nickname."

"I love it," She sighed, "she is so perfect. I can't believe I carried her inside me."

"She looks like you."

Lexie smiled and I gently sat next to her. Elizabeth had her hand stretched out so Lexie placed her finger on the palm. Elizabeth wrapped her tiny hand around it.

"She's so strong."

"Strong and beautiful. Just like her mother." I said. She blushed. In that moment, I saw everything I wanted and more.

"You're so sweet."

"I love you, Lexie."

"I love you, too. So much and I don't want to ruin this. I think that Lizzie and I should stay in the guest room. That way we can take things slow and steady whilst living together."

"If it makes you feel comfortable. I just want to be there for you. You never have to go through this alone, I will always be here."

That is a lot of commitment. It's a lot for you to take on."

"Hey, nothing is too much to ask. I would travel the world a million times over for you."

"Seriously?"

"For you, yes. I would go anywhere, do anything, if it means I get to see that smile on your face."

"I thought I was the hopeless romantic." She joked.

"I'm full of surprises, my dear."
