Taehyung yawned and rubbed his sore neck, his elbows rested on his messy wooden desk which had mainly food containers scattered over the place. His laptop shone blue light onto his puffy tired features and his painfully dry eyes read through articles slowly.

The media is so harsh. Taehyung thought to himself whilst clicking on an article in relation to Jeongguk or the company. As expected most recent articles were bashing him and his idea to open an orphanage, what he did not expect was it to lead to a chain of news about old issues reappearing.

He jumped when his phone suddenly began to buzz. He merely glanced at Jimin's caller ID and picked up the FaceTime call.

"Hello," Taehyung placed the phone against the wall ahead of him so that Jimin could get a view of his face. Instantly, he could tell the boy had smoked something due to how red his eyes were.

"I haven't slept for two days," Jimin spoke quietly on the other end and rubbed his face stressfully.

"Oh? I thought you were high again or something," Taehyung mumbled as he read through another article, "Why are you journalists so rude?" He gasped and leaned against his chair.

"I didn't even do anything,"

"No but these other ones are so- there's a whole article about how Jeongguk's plan to open an orphanage is pathetic!" Taehyung scoffed and tapped the screen.

"Why the fuck is he opening one?" Jimin pretended to be interested as he climbed into bed.

"What on earth?" Taehyung squinted his eyes and clicked a couple of tabs, "The same news company has posted about like four articles about him in the past two weeks- The Moon?" Taehyung snorted at the name.

Jimin snickered, "You mean The Sun?"

"No! Oh my God, they're a wish version of The Sun," Taehyung began to laugh with Jimin as he began to compare the two companies, "Ah whatever, I need to find a way to stop these articles from spreading," he mumbled and began to tap his pen against his notepad.

"Don't try too hard, make sure to take your sleeping pills, it's almost your bedtime," Jimin sweetly reminded on the other end and smiled warmly at the camera. Taehyung just hummed and began to write something.

It was a comfortable silence between the two, Jimin had his eyes closed but would open them occasionally when Taehyung would make too much noise or his body would jolt awake.

"Min," Taehyung spoke up after sometime and earned a hum, "Your company is struggling right? Wouldn't you get a lot of recognition if you wrote an article about Jeongguk?"

"We would?"

"Yeah, he's a popular topic right now and everyone's reading about it, say something nice," Taehyung suggested to the boy who nodded meaning that he'd take Taehyung's advice. He then started another bullet point with a box drawn next to it.

Taehyung thought about his steps carefully, the situation wasn't a light issue. After a few emails, he had discovered the rumour had not only severely impacted the companies reputation, but also business. Jeongguk was losing partners and money rapidly — Taehyung assumed it was defamation.

He picked up his phone and ignored the sleeping Jimin on his screen. Instead, he tapped on Jeongguk's contact and began to tap tiredly.

Jeongguk switched his phone off with a heavy sigh, a sigh that held many regrets and a lot of disappointment. He slammed his book shut and placed it onto his bedside table where an empty glass of water stood. He slipped under his covers and switched off his lamp.
