Taehyung stirred on the bed uncomfortably, squeezing his eyes shut and clenching his jaw due to a piercing headache. The more he became aware the more he felt pain in his body, the worst being his stomach and legs.
A whimper left him and he clutched onto his stomach to massage it, but there were another pair of arms around him instead.
Jeongguk was woken up by the feeling of nails digging into his arms which made him wince and sit up confused, still not letting go of Taehyung who squirmed.
"What the hell are you doing?" He tiredly asked and removed his arms from Taehyung who let out a shaky breath and immediately began to palm his stomach.
"My stomach really hurts," The boy slowly opened his eyes and stared up at Jeongguk who worriedly shuffled on the bed to get up.
"Did you eat anything weird yesterday?" Jeongguk helped the boy sit up which seemed like a mistake when the boy cried out and froze.
"I cant move, it- it hurts so bad," Taehyung breathed heavily and held onto Jeongguk's bicep for comfort.
Jeongguk began to panic when he saw the boy's bottom lip quiver and pain overtake his pretty features, "I'll call a doctor-"
"What the fuck did you do to me?" Taehyung spat at Jeongguk, exhaling heavily every second, "Was this part of some- of some sick plan? Are you gonna keep me here?"
"What? No- Mr. Kim, let me call a doctor first," Jeongguk reached over his phone and began to immediately search for his private doctor.
Taehyung squinted his eyes, vision either being Jeongguk's guest room or a familiar room he had been in before. He tried to reassure himself that perhaps this was an hallucination, but this didn't feel like it was due to his schizophrenia.
His reality genuinely felt like it was shifting. A sense of familiarity was taking over his body, he was experiencing a déjà vu. Just as he would grasp onto the situation, his vision would return to being in the guest room.
Taehyung could hear Jeongguk's voice in the background, but the main notes were the sounds of zippers, belts, coins and keys. It sounded so real that for a second Taehyung genuinely believed that he was back in time again.
"Mr. Kim, are you still in pain?" Jeongguk shook the boy who flinched and looked up at him with frightened eyes.
"Where am I?"
"You're at my house, I've called a doctor who's on his way. Do you know why you're sick?" Jeongguk pulled the boy closer to him so that his head was resting on his lap.
"Drugged," Taehyung swallowed dryly, "I've been drugged,"
Jeongguk's eyes widened, "What? What are you- how do you know?"
"I've been robbed like this before," Taehyung grunted, biting down on his lips hard enough to draw blood, "It'll go away by tomorrow,"
Jeongguk didn't know what to say. His heart ached at the thought of Taehyung being in a situation, and it hurt even more that he was able to recognise it so fast. He hoped that the boy wasn't triggered by the situation, he had heard of PTSD and had always feared experiencing it one day.
"It'll go away today, you're gonna be fine," Jeongguk slowly cupped Taehyung's face, caressing his cheeks gently.
"Can- can you stop being so sweet you're making me sick, I like it when you're cold and blunt," Taehyung gave the man a weak smile, quietly laughing when a glare was shot at him.
"You shouldn't be making jokes in this situation. You're in pain and it's okay to show it, stop always covering it up cus I get so worried when I don't know if you're actually okay or-"
