After Wednesday told Thing to keep an eye on Rowan, the two girls walked into the quad to see their first prospective club. It was a choir that seemed to be led by Bianca. And if Aloria was being honest, it had crossed her mind to join whatever club Bianca, Divina, and Kent were in. But seeing that they were in a choir? Eh, maybe not. She's not that good at singing.
(A/N: I meant that last line as sarcasm cuz she can't even talk 😭 she's actually a great singer, I guess tone is hard to convey through writing 😂 sorry about that)

Bianca turned to them and smiled at Aloria. "Hey girl, I see you're back. Let me guess, got caught?" Aloria nodded making her chuckle. "Figured." She then looked at Wednesday. "Addams."

"Barclay."

"Weems said you would be stopping by. Though I don't really see you as a singer."

Wednesday ignored the conversation about the club. She had more important matters. "After Aloria and I passed out, who did you tell? The sheriff?"

"You think I'd trust normie cops?" Bianca asked incredulously. "I went straight to Weems and let her handle it." If Bianca was being honest, had it just been Wednesday claiming what happened in the woods, she wouldn't have believed her. But Aloria was there. And whatever happened affected her so bad that she wouldn't leave her room for two days. So yeah, she believed Aloria. "Anyway, let's get this audition over with." She glanced at Aloria and grinned. "Well, Wednesday's audition."

Aloria pretended to be offended although her face held a smile. She then extended one arm into the air and the other grabbed her chest. She opened her mouth as if she was singing opera. After a few seconds she stopped.

Bianca clapped with a laugh. "Wow, best vocals I have ever heard." Aloria took a bow. Bianca looked at Wednesday her smile falling away. "So what are you? Alto, soprano? What?"

The guy at the keyboard pressed a note and Wednesday opened her mouth but nothing came out. Though all of a sudden, a kids glasses lenses cracked. He pulled him off confused. And in the distance were dogs barking.

"What was that?" Bianca asked.

"A note only dogs can hear." She then walked away but Aloria stayed for another second.

She looked at Bianca and mimed opening a book. Then she pointed at the sun in the sky and trailed her finger down.

Bianca furrowed her brows. "You wanna go over the book tonight?" Aloria nodded. "Sounds like a plan. Just meet in my dorm when you're ready."

Aloria gave Bianca a hug goodbye as well as Divina and Kent before jogging back over to Wednesday. Oddly enough, Wednesday was glaring at her. She leaned back confused.

"Do you have to hug everyone?" Wednesday hated the feeling she got whenever Aloria hugged someone else. It was like a pit in her stomach. And not the good kind. But it wasn't that she wanted the siren to hug her, no, that would be ridiculous. She just wanted her to stop hugging everyone else.

Aloria nodded. Maybe she was just tired, but she swore it seemed like Wednesday was jealous. She opened her arms, offering the shorter girl a hug. Wednesday stared blankly for a moment before walking away. Aloria frowned and followed lagging behind. She missed hugging Wednesday. It would be so much easier if she had known she didn't like hugs from the beginning. But she didn't and she got used to them and how they made her feel. And now she couldn't have them anymore.

They walked up to Xavier outside for archery club as he shot an arrow and hit the target to the left, missing the center. When he noticed them he turned. "Huh. You actually showed up. Ever shot a bow and arrow before?"
