TWO YEARS LATER
"You are oddly calm for a woman who's about to get married," Bianca pointed out.
Aloria smiled at herself in the mirror. She was wearing a long lavender strapless dress that dragged on the floor, had layered frills, and had pink and black lining that created patterns all over it. Her hair was down in waves and she had minimal makeup on. "I'm marrying the two women I love the most in the world, how could I be anything but calm?"
——
Enid was struggling out of Yoko, Ajax, and Fajr's tight grips as she tried to get to the window. "I should've gone with the traditional dress! I can still go get it from home! Let me go get it!"
"You're walking down the aisle in an hour!" Ajax shouted. "There's no time!"
"Your dress is perfect!" Fajr tried. "You look amazing!"
"Down, Enid! Down!" Yoko commanded. "Don't make me get Aloria and Wednesday!"
Enid stopped struggling and gasped as she looked over her shoulder at Yoko. "You wouldn't." The three girls aren't supposed to see each other until they walk down the aisle.
Yoko leaned in threateningly. "Try me."
——
Wednesday was tearing the room apart as she searched for an item with wide glaring eyes as Addi, Skye, Ronnie, and Eugene watched worriedly from a corner. "Where is it? I can't get married without it! Where is it!"
"Should we ask?" Eugene asked them quietly.
"Not unless you wanna get stabbed," Skye answered.
"I don't know," Addi hesitated. "She seems pretty stressed out about it. We should probably help."
Ronnie sighed. "Fine, but if I lose another finger I'll be pretty miffed."
——
Divina walked up to Aloria and wrapped her arm around her waist as she admired her sister in the mirror. "Married at 18." She shook her head. "Can't believe my little sister is gonna be married before me."
Aloria rolled her eyes though her lips held a smile. "Hey, all you have to do is propose to Yoko."
Divina shook her head. "Nuh uh. We agreed when we first started dating that she would propose if we lasted that long. We didn't want a situation where we were both planning to propose so."
"Then go complain to your girlfriend," Sasha suggested as she walked up and wrapped her arms around Bianca from behind. "I know I'll be complaining to mine."
"Okay," Bianca put her hands over Sasha's, "we have only been dating for two years."
"And they've only been dating for two and half."
"Which means I have six more months before you get to complain."
"Me and Yoko have been dating for three and half," Divina mumbled. They all gave her a look making her step back and hold her hand up in defense. "I'm just saying!"
Kent shook his head as he chuckled. "Can't we just be happy for Aloria. Complain about not getting proposed to tomorrow."
Divina crossed her arms and gave him a small glare. "You're only saying that because Ajax proposed to you two months ago."
Kent grinned and looked at the silver wedding band on his left ring finger. "Maybe." The two boys had started dating a few weeks after the blood moon their junior year. Ajax came out as bisexual which meant that Bianca (of course) won the bet they had going on him.
