I woke up and felt Perrie's warmth surrounding me. Apparently we shifted during the night, and now I had my head on Perrie's chest. I turned my head and looked up; there was no denying Perrie's beauty; even though I've never been interested in women, if I had to choose one, it would undoubtedly be Perrie.Even sleeping, she looked good; it was kind of unfair, really. I also loved her freckles; when we met, she was on a journey to feel more comfortable with them, but now she did.

I heard a light knock on the door, and Debbie's head peaked through the door. I gestured for her with my hand to come in.

"Morning Jade, "I just came to call you guys for breakfast because I know Perrie's lazy ass would still be sleeping until 3 p.m. if no one interceded," she said. I laughed.

"That's true; on her days off, I have to wake her up or she'll stay in the room forever," I chuckled.

"I'll go so you can wake her up," she made a brief pause. "You know, Jade, I'm so happy for you guys."Since the first time Perrie brought you here, I felt like she looked at you differently, you know. She still does" she said with a smile. I smiled back and blushed a little.

"Different how?" I inquired curious.

"Well, she looks at you like you're the most precious thing in the world." I've seen Perrie with other girlfriends and boyfriends of hers before, but she never looked at them the way she looks at you." We stayed silent for a moment, and then she said, "Anyway, wake this lazy one up and tell her that breakfast is ready, food is a huge motivator to waking her up." She said this, earning a chuckle from me, and left.

I started caressing her face and calling her name "Pez, babe." Wake up"

"No Jade, nooo!"

I said, "Babe, breakfast is ready; come on, let's eat," that woke her up and we got up, did our morning routine, and went to breakfast.

When we got to the table, all the Edwards were there again, because they wanted to enjoy time with Perrie before we went back to London. Jonnie's girlfriend, Katie, was there as well today, so I had no place to sit. Perrie noticed and immediately pulled me to her lap. Since I was basically in Perrie's way, I decided to help her, so I would eat a bite and then feed her.

"Oh my god, you guys are insanely sweet," Caitlin exclaimed.

"True, I didn't expect my heartbreaker sister to be a softy." Jonnie completed.

"Hey! "Don't say that in front of my fiancé," Perrie said jokingly.

"C'mon, I wanna know." "I already know you are a player, or have you forgotten that I was your roommate before we got together?" I said, quirking my eyebrow.

"Oh, Perrie here was quite talked about at school, you know. "She had all the girls and boys swooning over her, so you know she definitely used that to her advantage, and that's all I'm going to say," Jonnie told me.

"Jonnie, you are the absolute worst," Perrie said.

"Jonnie's coworkers also always fawn over Perrie too"  Katie said.

"Oh, my god! Don't even talk about it. "It's great that you're engaged now because they will get out of my case trying to get your number," Jonnie said to Perrie.

"I see I've got a lot of competition."I said playfully, with a pout.

"I don't need those other numbers when I've got my number one," Perrie said, and I melted.

"Oh my god, Perrie, you are so cute!" I squealed and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Why aren't you more like your daughter Alex?" Joanna said, and we all laughed.

The weekend with the Edwards had been great, and now I was nervous because I would facetime my family to tell them the news, and of course Perrie would do it with me.

I wasn't really sure what to expect; my mom and brother always seemed open-minded, but we all came from a culture that isn't really supportive of LGBT people. Of course, there are exceptions, and I was hoping my family was one of them. We never really talked about this issue because it never came up. I never thought about my sexuality before. I have always been atracted to men, but I guess I wouldn't rule women  completely out.

I clicked call, and Perrie instantly held my hand to offer support.

"Hello, Habib" my mom said.

"Hi Jay" Zeeko said.

"Hi, I miss you guys so much," I answered.

"We miss you too baby" Norma said.

"Hi Perrie," they said.

"Hii!" Perrie said it happily. They knew Perrie through FaceTime, and since I was going to be living with her, my mom wanted to get to know her, so oftentimes when we facetimed, Perrie was with me.

"Mom, Zeeko I have to tell you something. "It's not really easy for me to say it, but I really hope you guys support me." I sighed, pausing. "Me and Perrie are together"

"Oh, I know, Habib, it was quite obvious" my mom said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"C'mon Jade. We can see that you two are in love through the screen, and I can even imagine what you guys are like in person. "Just thinking about it gave me diabetes," Zeeko admitted.

I was really shocked; I didn't expect them to think we were together and to be this cool about it.

"So you approve of it?" You don't mind?" I asked

"Of course not; I can tell that Perrie makes you happy, and we have no reason to stay in the way of that," my mom said. Perrie noticed my silence.

"We're really relieved that you're ok with our relationship," Perrie said while planting a kiss on my hand that was joined with hers.

"Just keep treating Jade well and making her happy" Zeeko said.

"I have plans to do that for the rest of our lives"  Perrie said, which I saw as my cue to talk about the wedding.

"And speaking of the rest of our lives," I put my hand in front of the camera so they could see the engagement ring.

They were at first shocked and then congratulated us. We told them about the proposal.

"You need to tell me in advance when it's the wedding because there is no chance I'm missing my baby's wedding," my mom said.

"Don't worry, we'll keep you two up to date; I also wouldn't let you two miss my wedding."

We talked for a little bit more and then ended the call.

"That was better than I expected," Perrie said with relief.

"Were you nervous?" "You seemed so chill about it," I inquired noticing the edge in her voice.

"I was bursting with anxiety that anything would go wrong, but I knew that you needed me now, so"

Another thing I loved about Perrie is how selfless she was; she always did anything in her power to make me happy. I also did everything I could to keep her happy as well.

"Well, now we can announce to our other friends that we are engaged, and tomorrow we can go to the Register Office to get legally married so we apply for the visa and stuff," Perrie said.

"Ok, let's do this," I said. We both sat in bed, got our phones, and posted some pictures of the proposal with a cute caption. In minutes, the comments were flooded with congratulations, with some people saying, "I knew it." Perrie and I left our phones and went to the kitchen to make our dinner.

Tomorrow was the big day, the day I would officially become Jade Edwards.
