Today was the day I would officially become Jade Edwards, and I was a little bit nervous even though it was a fake wedding. I was about to get off the bed when I noticed Perrie wasn't there, which never happens because I always wake up first. I started to think the worst, like she gave up and ran away, but before I could panic, she came through the door with breakfast on a tray.
"Good morning, babe" she said, leaving a kiss on my head and putting the tray on my lap.
"Morning babe. "What is all this?" I was confused.
"Can't I make breakfast for my beautiful wife?" She said it with a smile.
"I am not complaining, but in my 3 years here, I can count on my fingers the times you woke up before me."
"I know, and I also know that as much as you bottle all of your emotions in, I can tell when you are anxious, and I felt like you were last night. "So I want to give you a worry-free day, so basically I'm your servant for today" she said sweetly.
"Don't I have the best wife in the whole world?" I said it playfully.
"Yes, you do; now eat your breakfast while I prepare a bath for you" she said, heading to the bathroom.
I was swooning over Perrie when my phone rang. It was Lisa, the girl from my class with whom I had previously spoken to obtain information from her father. I asked a few questions to her the other day, and she said she would call me with the stuff her dad said.
'Hi Lisa"
"Hi Jade. "Can you speak now?"
"Of course, hang on a minute, I'll call Perrie" I said, putting the phone away.
"Pez!" I yelled.
"Yes?"
"Lisa is on the phone. She'll talk to us about the immigration stuff."
Perrie came and sat next to me. "We're all ears" I said.
"Ok, so you do the civil marriage first, then request the spouse visa." If your documents are approved, they will do an interview with both of you separately to ask questions about each other and about your relationship. After you are approved, they will pay you a visit at your home to see if you two seem like a real couple. My dad also said that since you are going to get married right after Jade's visa expired, you'll be put in the suspicious category, and because of that, there's a chance that an agent will follow you guys around for the next month. When the coast is clear an agent will visit you three times this year and once a year for the next four years."
"Ok, so we'll basically live with an agent on our backs as if we owned a cartel." Perrie said.
"Unfortunately, yes, but I know you guys love each other, so it'll be easy peasy for both of you" Lisa replied.
"Thank you so much, Lisa, and thank your dad too." "We owe him a big one." I said.
"Don't sweat about it. Bye girls"
"Bye, Lisa" we said in unison.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Perrie?" You will be chained to me for five years." I asked guiltily.
"I am absolutely positiv; relax, ok." "I knew what I was getting into, and I don't mind having you by my side for 5 more years" she said. I smiled.
"Thank you" I said, hugging her waist and putting my head on her shoulder.
"So I guess we'll have to act couplely every time we're out." I said, embarrassed because I didn't want to put Perrie in this situation and make her feel uncomfortable.
"Even more than we already do" she said with a chuckle. "Have you noticed that no one is surprised that we are engaged?" she said in disbelief.
"I know, it's so strange, right?" I couldn't help but ask."Did you mean kissing and stuff when you said we should do even more than we already do?"
She looked slightly embarrassed before answering, "Yeah, I guess. I mean, that's what couples do, and I don't want the agent to have any doubts."
"I agree," I said a little too quickly. "So how would you like to go about that?" I asked.
"I think you should do what feels right. If you feel like it's a moment where you should kiss me, hug me, or whatever, just do it without hesitation and I will do the same. Deal?"
"Deal"

London City Hall
"I pronounce you wife and wife" the officiant said, and Perrie immediately pulled me by the waist for a kiss.
This kiss was even better than the last one, and it seemed like both of us were enjoying it since no one was letting go.
"Alright, you two, that's enough. "You can't have intercourse in the city hall," Faouzia said, and Perrie, Leigh, and I laughed.
After settling the documentation, we went home and sent in our application for the visa. We were now going to shower and get ready, tonight was our "engagement party" since we didn't have time to have one.
Perrie and I were ready, sitting on the couch and cuddling while waiting for Leigh-Anne and Faouzia. We were all going together to a club called Industry, and a couple of our friends would be there too.
"Hi, girls" the girls said as they entered our apartment.
"Hi" we replied.
"You guys look hot" Perrie said.
"Thank you; you do too, both of you." Leigh replied.
We were drinking and having fun at the club. Our little group had dimmed already, with some people going to dance and others to hook up. On our booth now, it was only Perrie, Leigh, Faouzia, and our friend from college, Dove.
"Oh my god, guys, I just noticed that I'm the only one on this table that hasn't kissed Perrie." Leigh said completely shocked. It's safe to say that the alcohol really got into her system.
"That is not true" Perrie said.
"Of course it is" Leigh said.
"Pez is right." I said, "You remember on graduation when we all got our diplomas and you were going to kiss Perrie's cheek but she turned her head."We all started laughing.
"Yeah, and I was confused, so I turned again, and you kissed me a second time" Perrie said laughing.
"Totally true, never mind." "Perrie is a horny bitch, then." Leigh said jokingly, and Perrie showed her the middle finger.
"Save that for Jade" she replied, and they all laughed while I blushed.
A/N: I have no idea if immigrants actually get married at city hall as well in the U.K., but that's how it works in my country, so I'm going with that.
