Jade's Pov

Perrie and I have been married on paper for six months, and now was the time for the wedding ceremony. I was so excited because I would see my family in person for the first time since I came to England, and they would also get to properly meet Perrie.

The ceremony would take place in 3 days, and my family was landing today. Perrie and I are currently at the airport waiting for them.

"Hey baby, are you excited?" Perrie asked, putting an arm around my waist and kissing my temple.

"Yes, I can't wait to see them. It's been so long, and I miss them so much."

"I know it's been hard for you. I'm really proud of you for being strong and brave to come to a different country with a different culture where you didn't know anybody while being away from your family."

"Thank you Pez, that means a lot to me. And I'm grateful that I did it because now I have you."

We shared a quick kiss, and when we pulled apart, I saw my mom and brother coming toward us; my mom had a big smile on her face. I let go of Perrie and went running towards them.

"I missed you two so much," I said as I hugged them tightly. We stopped the group hug so I could hug both of them properly.

"Us too, Habib. I'm so happy to see you." My mom said We separated, and I went to my brother.

"I missed your annoying face too" my brother said. "Also, your wife is really hot" he whispered.

"Shut up" I said, slapping his arm.

"C'mon, I'll introduce you guys," I said to them as they went towards Perrie.

"Hello, Ms. Badwi, it is really a pleasure meeting you." Perrie said this as my mother hugged her.

"No Ms. Badwi, for you; you're family. Call me Norma." With a smile, my mother said."Also, it's really nice meeting you in person, and I want to thank you for making my baby happy."

"She is the one that makes me the happiest" Perrie said, looking at me with a huge smile, which I returned.

"Hi Perrie" Zeeko greeted her.

"Hey Zeeko, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing great."

"So how about we get going to our apartment so you guys can rest?" I suggested

"I would kill for a bed right now" my mom said.

Perrie brought her Cadillac Escalade because her vintage car only fit two people, and my brother was very impressed.

It was the same when we got to the apartment and showed them around; they were in awe just like I was the first time I came here.

"So Norma, you can sleep in the guest room, and unfortunately we only have one, so Zeeko, you'll have to sleep in the living room." Perrie said

"It's cool, I don't mind," he answered.

Before they came, Perrie asked if I would like them to stay here or at a hotel that she offered to pay for, but I wanted them to stay here so we could spend as much time as possible together. My mother and brother went to shower and rest, leaving Perrie and me to relax before preparing dinner.

"So what did you think?" I asked while snugging close to her.

"They're great, just like on the video calls. Your mom is very caring; I can see why you're such a great person." I smiled at that. I have a really good relationship with my mom and love her very much; the same is true of Perrie. I guess you could say that we were both mommy's girls.

We cuddled and watched a bit of TV before starting to make dinner. Perrie wanted to make an English dinner so my family could taste some stuff from the UK. We settled on making Shepherd's Pie for dinner and Trifle for dessert.

We were just finishing cooking when my brother came and sat on the island stool.

"It smells good in here."

"Thank you, We're doing traditional British food so you two can taste it."Perrie said

"Oh, that's cool. What did Jade do so I make sure not to eat it?"He asked playfully.

"I should have left you in Egypt, you just came here to annoy me" I replied jokingly.

"Oh my god, you two are like Jonnie and me" Perrie said, chuckling.

"Jonnie is your brother?" Zeeko asked.

"Yeah, and you two are the same age. I think you guys would get along well."

"Please don't put these two together" I said, earning a laugh from her.

My mom joined us, and we ate together; they enjoyed the food, and we had a really good time. Just as I suspected, Perrie fitted right in with them, which was great. Now I was with my mom in the guest room, unpacking her bags for her, while Perrie and Zeeko were in the living room, watching some F1 race.

"You know Jade,  I'm really, really happy for you. Anyone can see from miles away that Perrie loves you very much."

I felt guilty for lying to her about our fake marriage, but I was really happy to hear that because along the way I fell in love with Perrie as well.

"I know mom; I'm really lucky to have her. She treats me like an absolute queen."

"As she should" my mom said sassily, and I laughed.

"Any tips for married life?" I asked.

"Are you really asking me?" she said jokingly. "Well, I would say always communicate with each other; don't bottle up your feelings because I know you tend to do that; talk to her; and don't be afraid to ask for help. You'll have some stupid fights here and there, but don't let them make you forget why you two married in the first place, the love you have for each other."

"That was beautiful; Thanks mom," I said as I hugged her.

"You're welcome, Habib. Now go check on your wife; it's already late."

"Ok, good night, mom,"

"Good night, baby."
