The Plan

"Ok, so we need a plan for that. I think it would be good if Perrie proposed to Jade in a public setting, with more witnesses and all. Oh, and don't forget to kiss and take pictures; it will look more real this way." Faouzia said

"Then you guys can apply for the visa, we do an engagement party, and we start planning the wedding." Leigh said.

"Yeah, that's good, and I also think you shouldn't tell anyone that this is fake, not even your family." Faouzia completed.

"You want me to lie to my mom and brother?" I asked.

"It's for the best, Jade." Leigh agreed.

"Fine" I said.

"And you?" Leigh asked Perrie.

"Yeah, as you said, it's for the best. The fewer people who know, the better" Perrie said.

"Baby, I think after the proposal we should go to South Shields so I can tell my family. I don't want to tell them we're engaged over the phone" Perrie said.

It was so weird to talk about us that way, but not in a bad way.

"Alright, babe, I think that's a good idea" I said, smiling at her. "We'll have to tell mine over Skype" I pouted.

"Don't be sad, Jadey; we'll fly them here for the wedding. Ok?" Perrie said this while running her hand down my back.

Perrie and I didn't have to do too much for people to think we were a couple. We already lived together and had tons of cute pictures of us around the house; we also were all over each other's Instagram, so our acquaintances and friends we didn't see all the time wouldn't have a hard time believing that our friendship evolved into a relationship when we posted about our engagement.

I was chilling in the living room, scrolling on my phone, when Perrie yelled from upstairs.

"Jadey, get ready. We're going out!"

"When? Where?" I asked.

"In 3 hours, the place you'll find out when we get there. Dress fancy" she replied.

I went upstairs to shower and get ready. I decided to wear an emerald-green silk dress and heels. I did a smokey eye and a nude lip and put my hair in an updo.

I was ready, so I went downstairs. As soon as I reached the middle of the staircase, Perrie turned and saw me. We both stood frozen, just looking at each other. Perrie was wearing a black pant suit and heels with makeup that enhanced her blue eyes and her hair pulled back. She looked stunning.

I descended the rest of the stairs and came to her.

"Wow Jadey! I don't even know what to say. You look absolutely stunning" she said, taking my hand and making me twirl.

"You look very beautiful too, Pez" I said, slightly blushing.

"Thank you. "Let's go," she said, extending her arm for me to grab.

The car came to a stop, and when I looked through the window, I saw we were in front of the Moghul Room, a fancy restaurant in Egypt that my family went to on special occasions since it was too expensive to go there all the time. When we were talking about food, I mentioned it to Perrie.

Perrie got out of the car and opened the door for me; she put her hand on my lower back, guiding me to the restaurant.

"Oh my god, Pez, I can't believe you remembered, and I can't believe they have one in London as well."

"It's a new one; it opened two weeks ago. When I saw it on my way to work, I thought of you and decided to bring you here."

The dinner was amazing, the food was delicious and reminded me of home, Perrie, as always, was great company, and we were having an amazing time. Perrie then grabbed my hand across the table.

"Jade, three years ago I decided to get a new roommate. I didn't know that this decision would turn out to be one of the best of my life. When I first saw you at the airport, you struck me with your outer beauty, your beautiful brown eyes, and your gorgeous smile. But every minute I spent with you, I got to see your inner beauty, your amazing personality, your incredible intelligence, and your amazing heart. I want to get to know even more sides of you, not just in the next three years but for many years to come."

During Perrie's speech, I started to get emotional; no one has ever said anything as beautiful to me before. As she got up, I realized what she was doing—she was going to propose, and even though it was a fake proposal, I could see in her eyes that everything she said was real. She got on one knee, and at this point everyone was already looking at us.

"Jade Amelia Badwi, will you marry me?" She asked me extending me a ring. I smiled genuinely at her beautiful words and faked surprise.

"Yes, Perrie! Yes!" I said excitedly, and the people around us started clapping.

She got up and slid the ring on my finger. She pulled me by the waist and whispered, "Are you ready to give them a show, Jadey?" I could feel her hot breath on my lips.

"Yes," I said quietly.

She kept one hand on my waist, and the other she used to cup my cheek and kissed me. Kissing Perrie was way better than I anticipated. I have never kissed a woman before, and I have never been attracted to a girl before. I don't know if it was just Perrie or if it was always like this, but if it was, I understand now why Perrie was bisexual.

The kiss ended quickly, and Perrie grabbed her phone from her pocket. "Excuse me, can you take a picture for us?" she asked the waitress.

"Of course. You two are a gorgeous couple" she said, smiling and taking the phone from Perrie.

"Thank you" we both said.

We got ready to take the picture, and I decided to put one arm around Perrie's neck and the other I would put up facing the camera so it would show my hand and my ring, and I would peck her lips. She put both of her arms around my waist, we took the pictures, thanked the waitress, and sat back down to order champagne and dessert. We also took a few selfies and continued eating and talking about anything and everything.
