Perrie's Pov
Today is the day I'm taking Jade on a date; it's been a few days since Jamie's birthday, and everything between us is great.
I wanted the date to go perfectly, so after some thinking, I decided that I would take Jade on a hot air balloon ride and a picnic at the beach. While we would be at the balloon, Leigh would set up the picnic for me. I was now getting ready so I could go to her house and drop the things off for her.
I was sitting at the edge of the bed, putting my shoes on, when I felt a pair of arms around my shoulders.
"Why are you not in bed with me?" Jade asked, and I turned around to peck her lips.
"Hi baby, you know I have a date with a very special girl today, so I have to make sure everything is according to plan," I replied.
"Oh, and who is this girl? She must be very lucky" she asked playfully.
"She is" I said, and Jade laughed, but I continued, "She is very lucky, but I am a thousand times more. This girl is simply the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen; she's also incredibly smart, obscenely funny, and the absolute cutest." I said while looking into her eyes.
"Oh my god Perrie, if I knew you were this romantic, I would have confessed my feelings for you earlier" she said, leaning in to kiss me. We kept kissing, and she was about to pull me on top of her, but I had to stop her.
"Babe, I can't right now. I have to go" I said, pecking her lips before getting up.
"Meanie" she said with a pout.
"I'll be back soon, baby, I promise."
"I'll let you go only because you're preparing a date for me," she said, and I chuckled.

I dropped things off at Leigh's and went back home. Jade and I got ready for our date, and now we were on our way.
"Pez, are you going to tell me where we're going?"
"Nope"
"Please, you know how I get curious" Jade whined.
"I know, but that's not how surprises so.."
"Fine" she said, defeated.
20 minutes later, we arrived, and as soon as we got out of the car, Jade spotted the balloons.
'Oh my god! Are we going on a hot air balloon ride?" she inquired, her voice upbeat.
"Yes, we are" I responded, smiling.
"You are literally the best" she said, throwing her arms around my shoulders to give me a kiss.
"I'm glad you liked it" I said and kissed her one more time. "C'mon now, let's go before they fly without us." I said as I took her hand in mine.
We would be sharing the balloon with another couple, and now we're waiting for the guy to set up everything for the flight.
"I always wanted to do this, but now that we're here, I'm shitting myself" Jade said with a little laugh.
I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer so we were hugging, and I told her, "I know right. But as long as I'm with you, you don't need to be afraid of anything because I'll always protect you."
"How did I get so lucky?" she asked.
"You're asking that of the luckiest woman on the planet, and she has no idea how it happened to her either" I said, and Jade smiled brightly.
"You guys are so cute," the woman from the other couple squealed.
"Thank you; this one brings the sap out of me" I said, and we laughed.
"I'm Emma, and this is my boyfriend James."
"Perrie, and this is my wife Jade."
"Nice to meet you guys" Jade said.
"Oh, I like your accent. Where are you from?"
"Egypt" she answered.
"I love it there; I went on vacation there once and it's really beautiful" James said.
"It really is; out of all the beauty there is in Egypt, I found the most beautiful one" I said, looking at Jade, and she smiled and blushed.
"You're going to kill me with your cuteness today, Pez" she said.
"How long have you two been together?"
"A little over a year, but we know each other for three years" I replied, and Jade continued.
"I came here to study, and we became roommates."
"That's awesome; I hated my college roommate; you two are lucky to have found each other," Emma chuckled.
We kept talking for a bit until everything was ready. Jade absolutely loved it, and we took a lot of pictures. The scenery was indeed really beautiful, and I made a great choice if I do say so myself.

We were now at the car when Jade spoke.
"Thanks for the date Pez; it was the best I've ever had."
"Who said it was over, Ms. Edwards?" I asked, quirking my eyebrows, and I saw Jade smile at the name. It did sound good saying it.
"Oh, so there is more?" she asked.
"Yes, but it's also a surprise, so don't even try."
"Killjoy" she said, and I chuckled.
We arrived at the beach, and Leigh did a beautiful job setting everything up. Jade adored everything. I was a little nervous before the date, but talking to Jade has got to be the easiest thing on earth; she manages to make the most mundane things interesting, and I love that about her.
We talked about anything and everything and had a really fun time. When we came back to our flat, we decided to take a shower and cuddle with a movie marathon since we were a bit tired.
We were in the middle of the third movie, which was a romance one, when Jade asked.
"Pez, when did you realize your feelings for me?"
"I was attracted to you the moment I saw you; I mean, how could I not?Look at you." I said, and she smiled while blushing, and I continued, "But in all seriousness, I don't think it wasn't an exclusive moment per se. As I was living with you, I started liking everything about you: the way you get worked up over topics you're passionate about, the way you're always pulling funny faces that make me wheeze, the way you laugh silently and slap everything near you when you find something outrageously funny, the way you never lose your childlike side even though you can be very serious and responsible when needed. So yeah, I guess I've always known in some ways, but after Faouzia and I broke up, that's when I really, really started thinking about it. What about you? When did you start having feelings for me?"
"Well, when I stop to think about it, I guess it was always there. I also adored absolutely everything about you, and I always felt so safe and warm with you, like you were my home away from home. But I had never thought about my sexuality, and I think that clouded my vision a little bit. When we started this whole marriage thing and shared our first kiss, that's when I realized there was something more there."
"Oh, so my kisses were so good they turned you gay?" I wiggled my brows amusingly.Jade burst out laughing and spoke dramatically.
"Yes, you corrupted me, Edwards. What shall I do now?"
"Well, hopefully I get to corrupt you even more" I said, starting to flip us over so I was on top.
"You are the worst" she said, laughing, and then leaned up to kiss me.
