Chapter 5: Black wolf

          I felt my bones shatter. It was really painful which made me scream. After some seconds, black hair started growing really fast on my body and simultaneously, my bones started rearranging.

I felt my nose disappear and my mouth elongated into a snout. My ears elongated. My hands and legs became paws and a furry tail came from my but.

After about furry five minutes, I finished shifting into a massive black wolf with canines which were so long they showed outside even when my mouth was closed.

My parents were shocked, happy and confused at the same time. I howled very happy I could shift. My senses heightened. I could hear the voices of the people outside, I could smell the food and my mate.

My parents immediately announced to everyone that the party was over and I was alright and after thirty minutes, all the humans had left.

I immediately ran outside into the forest into the forest to test myself out. I was so fast the trees were in a blue but I was so fast I couldn't control my speed. I ran into a tree which took me off my paws.

I whimpered from the cuts I got but in a matte of seconds, they healed. I saw my parents wolves running to me.

It was then I noticed that my wolf was a little bit bigger than my dad's wolf and was a little way bigger than my mom's wolf.

We played for some time and when it was almost midnight, we went home. I shifted back and for the first time, I felt lively.

The next morning, I was unusually fast and I could smell breakfast from my room. I had my bath and jumped into my black jeans with my black sweater.

I ran downstairs and had breakfast. "How do you feel this morning?" My mum asked. "I feel great." I answer her getting back to my food.

My annoying twin brother came into the room and I decided to use that opportunity to get to him. "Morning bro." I greeted him but he just growled at me.

I just laughed and ignored him. Since today was a Sunday, I decided to go to the pack library to see of I could find anything about black wolves.

After almost five hours of fruitless search, I found a book with brown covers and it had the head of a black wolf on its cover.

I decided o check it and alas, it contains information about black wolves.

It wrote that black wolves are the rearest breeds of wolves.

They were said to be really dangerous when angered and that an alpha black wolf is very possessive about their mate such that they never let them out of their sight.

That explains why Alex has been disturbing me lately and is always calm when around Anna.

I was so happy about all the information i got. I also said black wolves don't shift until they are eighteen which explains why I shifted last night.

After a long study, I was about to leave when my eyes caught a scroll which had a wolf head as the buckle.

Immediately I saw it, I felt attracted to it and all the tiredness I felt left me.
