Chapter 19: Angel

Hanna's pov.
          I was in a deep sleep when I heard the sound of growls everywhere. I was really scared thinking the wolves were in my room. After some time, the growls went down and couldn't be heard except two wolves who seemed like they were fighting for dominance.

I walked down the flight of stairs. I went to the dining room but everywhere was silent. I went to the sitting but nobody was there. The sound of the wolves fighting was now louder. I looked through the window and my mouth fell agape.

The pure black wolf who brought me here was fighting with a white wolf. It was then I remembered our teachings in heaven about the prophecy which would change the life of most supernatural species.

Apart from the two wolves, there were other wolves who stood far away and we're only growling.

I don't know why but I felt attracted to the black wolf since the first day saw him in school but I just ignored.

Apart from all the wolves there, there was a massive snake with a giant phoenix fighting and the phoenix seemed to have the upper hand which didn't seem right.

Within a few seconds, the phoenix clawed out the heart of the snake which caused the black wolf to howl louder than usual before falling on the ground...... Dead.

I felt like crying but I kept my years at bay. The white wolf shifted and to my shock, it mas Michael. My ex boyfriend. He was a werewolf.

He also killed his brother. All the wolves howled for the loss of their alpha. Two wolves who looked like their leader shifted back and turned out to be their parents.

They ran to the side of Daniel whose body had shifted back and his mother cried bitterly.

" Now for the alpha post. David Murphy. I want to tell you to step down or I challenge you for the position." Michael said which made his father growl.

"What audacity do you have to speak like that. You are the disgrace of this family not......" That was the last thing he said before ripped his head off.

I uncounsiously screamed from where I was. He looked at me and his eyes were a brighter colour than the usual blue.

He came closer which made me move backwards. He was about to touch me when his mother turned him around and landed a hot slap on his face.

"You dare slap your alpha. Take her to the dungeon. No food or water till further notice." Nobody moved when he talked. He looked around and blasted.

"Are you deaf? I am the new alpha and i tell you what to do henceforth." They all showed their necks and had no choice than to obey him.

Like it was planned, about one hundred and fifty wolves ran away. We were all shocked but nobody dared talk.

The guards gave their old Luna a sad look before taking her to the dungeon. I couldn't take it anymore. I spread my wings and flew away from all this madness or so I thought.

I hadn't gone anywhere when I saw the phoenix on my tail. I knew. I couldn't go faster than it so I decided to loose it among the trees but before I could get in-between the trees, my wings were burnt by a fireball and I was caught midair.

The phoenix took me back and that was the beginning of my suffering. I wish I could send a message to heaven but loosing my wings took a toll on me.
