Chapter 17: You have to go to your cousins pack.

Before going too far, I linked the pack members to come back to the pack which they did because after five minutes, they joined me and I could feel Hanna's muscles tense up.

We got to the pack after furry five minutes and I went straight to my parents.

When I got to the entrance, I stopped and lowered my body on the floor so she could come down.

When I shifted back, she quickly looked away. I was surprised before realizing it.

"It's okay. I have my clothes on. We can shift back with our clothes on." She was relieved a bit but still scared.

"It's okay. This is our house." I escorted her in and linked my parents I was home. In the split of seconds, they were downstairs.

Immediately they came down, they hugged me tightly before going to meet mate and introducing themselves to her.

I explained how I knew Michael was the rogue alpha and also about my snake spirit.

My mum looked sad but dad consoled her meanwhile, Hanna just stayed quiet eating her food.

When we finished eating, she was still uncomfortable. Mum and dad left us to have some time alone.

Her heart was beating fast. "You don't have to worry. You are safe here." I told her not sure if it helped.

"Really? How can I be safe when I don't even know where I am and I suddenly see one of the people turn into a giant wolf?" She confessed.

"Look I know you are not convenient here but this is the only place you are safe for now." I told her. She looked at me like she could be anywhere except here.

I guess here goes nothing. "Look. You can't go anywhere because Michael is looking for you and any minute now, he is going to walk in that door and begin looking for you."

She looked at me shocked and her heart started beating thirty times per second.

"You know what why don't you go have some sleep. We'll talk tomorrow morning." I told her.

A maid led her to one of the empty rooms which was close to my room.

"I don't think it's safe for you guys here." Dad told me and I totally agree but I couldn't leave Hanna here.

"What about Hanna? I can't just leave her and go. She is in a messy situation right now. I am not going anywhere without my mate." I said determined.

"Look Daniel I understand how you feel but I think it would be better if you went to your cousins pack for safety." Dad said.

"And is that what a good alpha does? Well if so, I choose to be a bad alpha and stay to protect my pack." I told them before going to my room.

They were really worried but I couldn't just leave.
