Chapter 35

They say everything happens for a reason. But what exactly is the reason behind all of these problems? We were fine a while ago. And now? We are currently facing a big problem that will really cause dilemma in our relationship.

It was 5 o'clock in the morning when I was woken up by a dozen missed calls from mamita. And then there we have it. A scandal circled around the internet, and it was about me. This isn't my first issue but this might be the one to ruin my career.

Well how was I supposed to know that there was someone taking pictures of me and Roxen, when we were on our way out of the venue. I also received a call from Suzanne and she was really sorry about it. She also promised to help me find the person who did all of this, though I told her it was no need she didn't let me stop her. She says that no one should be messing with me and even comforted me.

I sighed as I watched mamita, reading the 15th tabloid about me. It would've fun if it was all about praising me and stuff. But turns out it wasn't, it was a scandal. Someone took a picture of me and Roxen going out of the venue, from Suzanne's bridal shower.

It was a good thing that Roxen wasn't really that seen in the picture. They only captured his side profile and it was a bit blurry, mine on the other hand was obvious. It was clear that it was me.

" Oh god, hija! What am I supposed to do with these people " aniya ni Mamita habang hinihilot ang kaniyang sintido.

I just sighed as I didn't have the courage to speak up. I don't have any say about this after all it is true that it was me and Roxen. I won't even deny.

" Mamita, they say what they want to say. Who cares if they call me a bitch? That I cheated on kye. In the first place we weren't even in a relationship. " I rolled my eyes.

After my project with kye, we were both in a hot seat. Pano ba naman they are all convinced that we are in a relationship. He's not even my type!

And eto naman si Kye, mas lalo lang naging malakas ang pagdududa Ng mga tao ng magpunta ito sa Malibu, a few months ago. Back when Roxen and I are still not together.

It's like adding gasoline to a flame. Which is about to ruin my career. And for some reason I ain't even scared, I mean I have my own business and I can really stand with my own feet now. So who cares?

Of course I'm still considering my fans, I know they would understand.

" Hija, you do know that this will affect your career big time, right? "
I knew mamita was going to say that. And I knew it too.

" Yes mamita. " Sabi ko ng nakakunot ang noo.

Mas lalo lamang akong napakunot ng noo, nang may bigla lumabas na tabloid. It was me and Kye once again they thought we're in a relationship.

gosh how in the world do they come up with such things.

I sighed for the nth time, I knew this was my fault. I dragged myself into this mess.

" Mamita, what if I quit showbiz? " I said to her.

Mamita looked at me shocked.

" What? A-are you serious right now, xyrane? " She asked me with a worried tone.

" Umh, I was just thinking about it mamita. After all I think it's time for me to take a brea— " she cut me off. Obviously so worried.
